He is right to do it. If the system has declared itself to be racist, we should all take advantage of that system as much as we can.

One day, maybe, we will get back to judging people "by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin."

But for now, everyone is morally obligated to declare himself or herself to be an oppressed minority. This is the right way to fight the injustice of real institutional racism, which is being imposed by Democrats as we speak.

Also, it's kind of interesting that the Left says both that "race is a social construct" and "you need a scientific DNA test to prove your race".

They flounder in contradictions because they live on a diet of lies.

He may have an easier time claiming to be female, and getting the "woman" part of the "woman and minority" ownership advantage.

Why not get both?

They told him they would give him the minority status, but he would have to stop going around calling himself the 'n' word.

I'm claiming Armenian.

I'm trying to be less white, but I just keep going back to being superior, I can't help myself.

Rachel Mendezola was ahead of her time! I should identify as black for preferential treatment.

Only works if you're Armenian and live in South America, otherwise, you're just another ex-Soviet type, i.e. whitey boy.

Not sure I’d admit to being Armenian.
Aren’t they all crooks and scam artists?

Lol, I'll ask my Armenian in-laws about that. Or maybe better not.

We did visit the Armenian neighborhood in Buenos Aires a few years ago when we toured the area. There are quite a lot of Armenians there, and a large church. Wife's sister was in Argentina for work and speaks Spanish, so we had a convenient translator.

@GreaterNYCDude You actually Armenian?
13   GreaterNYCDude   2021 Mar 4, 7:53am

@ Patrick.. yes. Although most of that side of the family was wiped out by the Turks.

Yes, if you're Armenian, Russian, Maltese, German, Italian, a/o even Turkish, and have a homestead in Argentina, then you can declare yourself Hispanic because that's how the system works. It's about the Spanish language and where it's been proliferated.

This is in stark contrast with let's say Asian-American where it's based upon actual racial differences, not just on some continental affiliation.

And FYI, the greater Boston area has a huge Armenian diaspora (Watertown MA being the epicenter) with libraries and museum dedicated to its history and the subject of genocide by the Ottomans.

True. My wife has relatives there. I even stayed at her great aunt's house in Watertown for a week.
