If I were gay, I'd marry the Florida governor.

DeSantis for president!

He got my vote right there. The only thing that would stop my from voting from him is someone even more based and effective.

I really would like to believe this, but I think I'll wait for the MSM coverage! I'm sure it will be choice!

Kamala jumped on the line cackling and juicing and said "Did somebody say Fuck? Here I am! Don't leave me out."

Too lazy to search my own comments. I'm sure I predicted he's running. Maybe typed up a comment and didn't post it, but pretty sure I did. Good stuff though. He protected the people he needed to in his state. Which is a states job, not the fed. Whether he runs or not, it's nice to see a politician do their job as best they can. And shit on the federal government where appropriate.

I still want to nut kick him for locking down FL when I wanted to go there, but maybe it was best. Still pissed though.

Today I was in a place that was open to people dining and drinking with easily 150+ people.

I was in Florida.

People were having a good time, small and large boats were going to and fro, some had girls in bikinis on them.

The scene was festive, as it usually is during the “season” (non summer months)

De Santis rocks, I hope he really said that to the cocksucker Biden, and to hell with Topogigio Fauci too.

DeSantis told Dr. Fauci he trusted his own state health authorities “over financially incentivized federal officials.”

It’s ok to be straight and admire courage.

States SHOULD tell the feds to fuck off just as we should tell our state officials to fuck off when they trample our rights.

That's why the elite is trying to frantically to censor everything that might question their complete control.

They see that populism is spreading because they have fucked the people too hard and for too long. The assholes of the people are chafing and they are getting mad.

The elite don't know what to do except censor social media and promote racist "anti-racism" to divide us.

Snopes has rated DeSantis' comments as false.

Lol. Of course they would.

There is a transcript of the whole conversation out there. It seems credible to me.

And fund cancel culture operatives to cancel dissenters.

God I love this man:

"As many parts of the country embark on an uneasy march toward normalcy, Florida is not only back in business -- it's been in business for the better part of the past year. DeSantis' gamble to take a laissez faire approach appears to be paying off -- at least politically, at least for now, as other governors capturing attention in the opening phase of the pandemic now face steeper challenges.

Despite far fewer rules and restrictions, Florida lands nearly in the middle of all states on a variety of coronavirus metrics. The state has had about 3% more Covid-19 cases per capita than the US overall, but about 8% fewer deaths per capita."

"What I'd love to ask about Florida is, if we had done things differently in Florida, what would it have looked like?" asks Jason Salemi, an associate professor of epidemiology at the University of South Florida College of Public Health, who says that comparing states "complicated and often counterproductive."

"If you use those metrics of where Florida is relative to a lot of other states, we're looking middle of the pack. So no, it hasn't been a disaster in that we're leading in mortality per capita in cases per capita," he continued, adding "It's not always about doing well relative to your peers. It's how can we prevent as much morbidity and mortality from the virus while keeping an eye on what's happening with our economy."

We're visiting next month, and may make a permanent move.

I fly down Saturday. Weather looks iffy, but should be a good time. Half sunny and half potential rain. But that's FL in a nutshell.

F'ing Pensacola Bay bridge being down is a pain in the ass though.

Florida is surprising to me.
You expect it to be chaotic because there's no income tax.
Au contraire.
