Clenched fists or not even trying to place a hand over the heart. I guess the coaches told them "no knees on the ground. "

Sugar Bowl for me today. We, my wife and I, are going to make skiing a super bowl Sunday tradition.

Just got off the slopes. Excellent conditions and not too crowded.

Never bet against TB
3   Patrick   2021 Feb 7, 5:30pm

TB?

Fuck the Super Bowel. I just know they are going to spew woketard shit all over what used to be a fine tradition.

And I do mean Bowel. Not a typo.
4   porkchopXpress   2021 Feb 7, 5:32pm

Tom Brady. Regarding the NFL, I agree...I'm not even watching. I'm here with you guys :)
5   joshuatrio   2021 Feb 7, 6:25pm

We watched till halftime with some friends. Spent more time enjoying our friendships than watching the game. Too much blm crap.

The pre game stuff was absurd.
I was invited to a party so I was stuck; for food, drink and company I had to see it.
Biden and his wife said something, I didn’t listen.
Evidently Biden doesn’t talk alone now.
The game was better than average for a super bowl game. I enjoyed it.
The Jeep ad was very annoying. It was some bullshit about us “meeting in the middle”.
How about you meet my foot with your liberal ass.

80% Cardboard Cutouts, fucking dystopian Bullshit.

I heard that right off the bat they had some 16-year old Black Lesbian Poet Laureate babble around the coin toss.
Then around half-time they sung the Black National Anthem.
Jeep had a cringe commercial with an earringed cowboy lighting a candle at a rural church talking about the "reunited states of america"
I hope nobody watched the BLM Bowl, aka overpaid self-hating Fays who beat their wives after smoking crack.

Wow, it's true:

With only 22,000 fans in the stands at Super Bowl 2021, the NFL filled up 30,000 additional seats with cardboard cutouts.

It was on at our house. I'd go do or look at something else when the actual game wasn't being played. No pre-game. Bad game overall FYI. Also slightly convinced the league is fixed at this point. Some awful (seemingly fixed) calls against the Chiefs. They also played awful as well so probably would have lost anyway.

First full game I've watched of Mahomes. I think the league or at least Tampa had this guy figured out big time. He's a showboat and was lucky to win last year. I don't see him winning another SB without an entire offensive line of pro bowlers that can block for his sloppy play and showboating. Mini-me T Hill is going to get broken at some point as well. So Mahomes will likely be a one hit wonder I'm thinking without a ton of other top notch players.

WORST half time show in history. A high school marching band or dance performance would be 10 levels better. Hence the quote about about dystopian BS. That's literally what that was. I had no clue who the dude was. Understanding microphones, dynamics and production, the guy wasn't singing 98% of the time. It's an embarrassment to people that can actually sing and perform.

Then there was the underwear masks. Holy fuck. Just watching these people march on the field. It reminded me of shit you see from N. Korea and communist countries. It was an extremely disturbing image. Like really bad. Kid being kids, they want to watch it. I had them get the fuck out of the room after 2 minutes of what I witnessed.

I'm sure it's to blur out that the crowd isn't real, but the new on field filming in like a tilt shift focus also had this dystopian effect to the game. (player in focus and everything else blurred) I know some of you guys have said it here, but that entire thing was staged propaganda. 1,000%. It was kind of scary and I didn't even watch the commercials or any of the pregame shit. I've been getting wind of more p-ganda here and elsewhere that I didn't even see.

I like the game of football. It's entertaining. But it's no longer about the actual game anymore. So for that reason, I'm out. The entire sport is dead to me because all it ultimately is, is a feeder system to the NFL at any level regardless of how low the odds are of getting there. Your kid, the kids of your brothers and sisters and friends, yell from the mountaintop to never have kids do football. I don't even care about the brain injuries. The league is pure toxic trash.

We'll see what the ratings are. I hope awful. We didn't get invited to a SB party at all this year (generally impossible). Problem is that if people weren't watching it at a party, they might be able to track more TVs watching it and claim ratings were the same or up. What I witnessed needs to go away. The game sucked too. Though Tom Brady is fucking insane. He's the GOAT of all the major sports. Not just football. He's a fucking quack, but you cannot deny the greatness.
16   Shaman   2021 Feb 8, 7:32am

Watched it from kickoff at a small party. The game itself was good. Mahomes vs. Brady, young gun vs. old veteran. Veteran smoked him! I was rooting for Chiefs but you can’t deny the Brady greatness. That man is a true leader and inspired his team to an epic performance. Mahomes made some insane passes but nobody could catch. Even Hill seemed partially absent. Or maybe they just had his number and shut his ass down on the passing plays.
But Brady just made the right plays and calls and dominated.

I also made $400 on squares so I’m happy.

Remember that other super bowl where it was 49ers losing like 35 to 0. Suddenly lights go out for like 30 minutes. We come back and game suddenly completely reverses. Kind of like our last election.

Cubs vs Braves rain delay in game 7 in 2016. Not a Cubs fan, but sounds similar. It's like someone wasn't following the script and the directors needed to get people in line.

Kansas got torched. It was bad football on their end and overall. Mahomes is a one hit wonder. He's the flashy but not functional car. I used to be able to high jump 6'6". Now I'd just grab a ladder to clear that. Work smarter not harder. Mahomes raw talent is gonna go to waste because he doesn't work/think smarter. Maybe that can change. I don't see it though from his personality. He's cocky in my opinion with a modesty act as a front.

Went skiing instead. TBH I've always used SB day to get into places usually too packed or unavailable - a restaurant, a campground, etc.

Good thinking. We went to Tampa 2-3 weeks ago because prices were nothing to fly there, likely because of the SB. The rates were jacked up for this past weekend because of SB regardless of all the cardboard cut outs in the stands.

Everything was pretty well booked down there though from what info I've gotten though in all seriousness. Problem is, everyone is dead of Covid tomorrow that went to Tampa...lol.

Not many did. Covid isn't all that deadly at all. As others here have said. My body, my choice. STFU otherwise. If one doesn't want to kill themself, don't put a rope around your neck. Not difficult. Don't ban ropes.
23   zzyzzx   2021 Feb 8, 10:49am

Watched videos where there was booing when Biden spoke. Most likely was at least partially censored for TV and internet since you can't hear it particularly well.

Didn't watch pregame stuff, but wouldn't surprise me. What is there to cheer about Biden? 80% of the country is in agreement. They just figured out how to steal an election.

Can someone download this and repost directly here or maybe on streamable. It's going to get censored pretty soon..

I have enjoyed the NFL ever since the early 90's. Men need an outlet imo. Watching sports has been a thing ever since 2 men challenged each other to any type of physical test of any kind. The fucks try to ruin every damn thing.

Super Bowl posts worst viewer ratings since 2007
The numbers are in, and the National Football League's biggest game of the year — during this season of Covid — failed to top 100 million viewers this year.

I’m just about ready to mail it in on Super Bowl and start a family tradition doing something else.

Good. I was one of them, but I didn't watch a single commercial actively or any pre-game nonsense. So I feel a little bit better giving them one TV. I know it's global, but it is sad that "supposedly" close to 100M people watch it.

5-10 years ago we'd have been invited to maybe 4-8 parties and have trouble deciding. Not one party in the last two years. Maybe kids is a factor, but it's an excuse to get together and have some drinks and socialize. I'd have thought it would be more popular this year because lockdowns. I guess the covid brainwash is still in full effect.

Meanwhile in the NBA, Mark Cuban goes for broke...
For years, the singing of “The Star-Spangled Banner” was a staple before all professional sporting events in the United States. That changed this season when the Dallas Mavericks decided to forego the tradition altogether during home games.
And the NBA realizes they have a problem...
Earlier Wednesday, the NBA announced that all its teams must play the national anthem before games.
“With NBA teams now in the process of welcoming fans back into their arenas, all teams will play the national anthem in keeping with long standing league policy,” NBA Chief Communications Officer Mike Bass said in a statement.
