Happening in NV too. Felt like an idiot wearing a mask at the store today. Still feel like an idiot. I know they don't work. A N95 mask can filter 95% of particulates over 300 nm. Corona is 90 nm max. At best, a mask restricts airflow (spread range) from a sneeze or cough, but it does NOT prevent the disease from traveling through the mask.

In college, we lived across the way from an Amazonian Vixen, about 7' tall. I'm only 5'9". They didn't call me the Giant Slayer for nothin'.
Anyways, after it all happened, an old buddy, while we were discussing the topic, picked up a toothpick and casually tossed it into a shot glass

Do it. Get out of CA. It's more common than you think (not mask wearing). You're living in a place where 1/8th of the country's entire population thinks mask wearing works. Probably 70-80% locally.

Just went to a b-day party last night. About 32 people. No spacing between tables. No mask. Tequila shots. It was normal. It was fun. The are dumb asses that can bash IL, I just know I had more fun than anyone in CA last night without it probably being illegal or against a BS EO. Most other states are pretty open if you get out there. At some point you guys just need to stick it to them and get the fuck out. Even winter parts of the country aren't that bad.

Going to visit some relatives in Texas in late February. That will be interesting.

Got some food from a great sandwich shop in San Diego yesterday. No mask, wasn't asked to wear one. Almost all the restaurants in the town we live in are fully re-opened. The one we went to last Sunday has a sign out front telling people if they aren't comfortable with crowded places, not to eat there. As if people have a personal responsibility for the choices they make..?
