Facebook's former chief security officer, Alex Stamos, and CNN's Brian Stelter put their heads together to see what new ways could be devised of censoring “conservative” content in the US.

After the practice of removing users and their content from centralized social networks, and then deeper and wider-reaching instances of censorship like Google and Apple banning apps from their stores, while Amazon and others are denying web services to alternative platforms - the time seems to have come to consider whether massive cable and internet providers should join in.

Stamos was speaking on CNN when he openly said that Comcast, AT&T, and Verizon should do their part in making sure conservatives are unable to reach their audiences.

According to the former Facebook exec who is now an adjunct professor at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Cooperation - outlets like One America News and Newsmax should be blocked by communications and TV operators."

We have to turn down the capability of these conservative influencers to reach these huge audiences. There are people on YouTube for example that have a larger audience than daytime CNN..." Stamos said.

As for what he referred to as conservative influencers - whose audiences on YouTube and Facebook are larger than CNN's - this is something he thinks Google and Facebook must take care of, lest they turn into "cable networks for disinformation."Stamos at the same time branded these right-leaning voices that have amassed huge audiences as extremely radical.

When it comes to One America News and Newsmax, he said their availability on Comcast, etc, and their freedom of speech, is "a problem."

Stamos believes that telecoms should stop carrying these networks - and then people who want this content should be free to go out and seek it. (But apparently, not on YouTube or Facebook).

"I think is really where we're going to have to go here," he said.

Blocking and banning content on political and ideological grounds at ISP and operators' level is nothing new, although it would be new in the United States.

Many authoritarian regimes routinely reach for such measures to suppress information and sever communication between people, and the ultimate step of censorship are internet blackouts.Stamos also spoke in favor of finding a way of bringing people "back into the mainstream" in terms of what media is available to them and from which sources they should be allowed to get their news.

Notice he said "Conservative" influences. Not 1488, Not Conspiracy Theories, Not "Q". Just Conservative.

The reason media shut down comment boards across the spectrum, and eventually The Guardian Comment is Free, is because the woketard to normal ratio was easily 1:5. Especially on city/local newspapers and Yahoo! This happened largely before Trump's election. It showed the real balance in America, which is 10% Full Woketard 10% Symp Worktard 10% Liberal, 30% Moderate and 40% Conservative.

One thing that can be done regardless of Jan 20th is getting State Legislatures to hold hearings about State University Curriculum and Policies in regards to Wokeness and whether that reflects taxpayer values AND violates First Amendment rules AND if it's even true. Yes, State Legislatures should demand that Professors and EduAdmins prove what they're teaching/enforcing is even the truth, or just a very tendentious version of some exaggerated truths combined with anti-American propaganda.

Yes, I agree that it's good to try to start with states. They are not as wholly owned by Bezos/Biden/China as the federal government, I think.

This means adding Political Affiliation to anti-discrimination law in red states.

Of course they want it silenced. Every time these leftists spout outrageous lies and someone responds with evidence that they are lying or being hypocritical, they have nothing else to fall back on. No facts, no logic, no reason. So it's time to throw a tantrum and demand the other person be shut up.

All this faux outrage over "right-wing terrorism and insurrection"? It's got absolutely nothing on the democrat-endorsed (and even funded if you consider the money donated to bailing the criminals out) murder and destruction over the better part of last year.

That kind of info is damning to their campaign of lies.

People who demand censorship are nothing more than cowardly deceivers who fear people knowing the truth.

The fact that Wikipedia scrubs these facts gives them great credence.

Dozens of people were killed due to criminal activities that occurred during BLM/Left-wing rioting in 2020. Hundreds, possibly thousands, were injured. This is only a partial list.

This list will be continuously updated here. You can help contribute by sending us names. We are only included those killed as a direct result of criminal activity. If we used the same journalistic standards of CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, and others, there are many more we could list, such as Jacob Gardner who committed suicide after months of persecution and harassment by BLM.

Activists are scrubbing this data from Wikipedia right now. Many major media outlets are pretending like it never happenend. It is very important that a permanent exhaustive list is created because activists are trying to re-write history.

There were many outright murders and attempted murders. Most were committed using firearms, but at least one murder victim was killed by fire. There are two main categories of these murders. The largest category was people murdered as part of the rioting. There is a smaller category of murders, in which BLM/Antifa rioting was used as a cover to carry out murders against other people within a protest/riot area (Such as Italia Kelley in Davenport, IA). There were also many people killed in self-defense shootings.

Another large number of deaths were caused by rioters engaged in criminal activity. Such as the rioter who blew himself up in Philadelphia trying to open an ATM machine with explosives. USAToday reported in early July that over 100 rioters had been hit by cars while illegally blocking traffic in cities all over America.

Minneapolis, MN: 3 dead
Indianapolis, IN: 3 dead
Seattle, WA: 3 killed (5 other gunshot victims)
Cicero, IL: 2 dead
St. Louis, MO: 2 dead
Davenport, IA: 2 dead (3 other gunshot victims)
Louisville, KY: 2 dead (9 other gunshot victims)
Philadelphia, PA: 2 dead
Kansas City, MO: 1 dead
Chicago, IL: 1 dead
Omaha, NE: 1 dead
Portland, OR: 1 dead
Atlanta, GA: 1 dead
Detroit, MI: 1 dead
Bakersfield, CA: 1 dead
Las Vegas, NV: 1 dead

Total: 27 dead, 17 other gunshot victims

‘The OANN and Newsmax Problem’: Former Facebook Official Compares Conservative ‘Disinformation’ to ISIS, Calls For Censorship

Meanwhile, sensible people compare calls for censorship to the totalitarianism of Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia.
