We are seeing crypto asset bubble again in BTC and ETH, my question where will you invest your profits at some point BTC will crash .
Options :
1) stocks
2) real estate
3) gold / silver
4) buy other crypto coins
5) keep in cash $$ to invest in BTC after the crash.
6) invest or start a business .

I wish we had survey feature on pat net .

Finally a great question!

I'd never sell ALL Bitcoin. Since I dont know how much I will make in net profits (realized crypto gains - taxes), I will start at 1 and go down the following list:

1) pay off mortgage(s) and/or pay down mortgages and refi (take advantage of incredible low 30 y. rates)
2) use as down payment for more rental property
3) invest some in stocks
4) keep some cash on hand for opportunities

5) f no on gold/silver, f no on buying other coins when BTC crashes

Thank you G36 , that means we will see demand for stocks and real estate either in USA or with 0% interest era might move to emerging markets. Virtual inflated Money somehow have to rotate. However so you don’t believe in the narrative long term BTC will goto 500k long term and near term it can go to 100k and hold it What is your target price to book profits as we speak BTC is at 40k now.

I only invested $100 into BTC few weeks back when it was $19,000 as I did not want to die with regrets but I still do not invest is so high risk assets, but happy for folks who has made money in crypto hope they book the profits at the right time. I am happy with my investments in stocks and real estate gives me peace of mind. I Invest in what I understand.

REAL returns various asset-classes (1802-2012) -

$1 invested in US$ cash = $0.05
$1 invested in gold = $4.52
$1 invested in T-bills = $281
$1 invested in bonds = $1,778
$1 invested in stocks = $704,992

Productive assets have provided better protection from fiat debasement!

I think stocks and RE have legs. Not just the money printing and low interest environment but also demographics.
I honestly dont know what the majority of people will do with their crypto gains. Some will buy lambos, some will buy their first house and some rich guys will buy another yacht. I dont see RE taking a hit for a while (maybe years from and only if it really overheats).

To sustain this bull run for many month we must have a significant correction, find a support level and bounce off from there. I'll get worried if we just keep going up in a straight line... the bull market will top out sooner than later. I dont believe in this time is different. What goes straight up comes back down eventually.

So far the stock-to-flow model has been spot on (over many years). My sell targets start at around 100k. But I will always keep some BTC stashed away. Yeah, eventually I believe it will hit 500k but that could be 5 years away. We also see diminishing returns each cycle and the cycles are lengthening.

I agree we will see a 20% healthy drawdown in 2021 but long-run markets will recover and go higher. Next 2021-2040 looks very exciting in terms of disruptive innovation in tech, EV, and genome. I am a big fan of Cathy Woods from ARK invest.

Jeez Cash, could you try to keep it non-personal?

To be honest, I don't know who he's talking about there.

OK, mark it personal. I'll agree.
