31500? especially with the USD being so weak and finally broke down past support level and likely heading lower https://invst.ly/tarpz
If USD cant find it's mojo I would suspect a nice 2k rally over the weekend if not sooner;)

Its very healthy for Bitcoin that it didnt keep on going up in a straight line. It needs to build support levels and go through accumulation phases.
What one need to keep in mind is, institutions cant just buy Bitcoin at a blink of an eye. A lot of boxes have to be checked and a process has to be completed for institutions to put 100s of millions of USD in Bitcoin on their balance sheet. Its unlikely they have any interest in selling their Bitcoin.

Rather, they hold for the long term. Smart.

Maybe that's why we call them smart money.

I do the same BTW.

So far (10 years), Bitcoin has followed the stock-to-flow model like clockwork.

"US Lawmaker Likes Bitcoin — Urges Policymakers to Embrace Innovation in Regulation"

https://news.bitcoin.com/us-lawmaker-likes-bitcoin-policymakers-innovation-regulation/

U.S. Representative Patrick McHenry is pro-bitcoin. He is now hosting the Bitcoin whitepaper on his official congressional website and has called on other lawmakers to embrace innovation like Bitcoin. He believes that the cryptocurrency is unstoppable and governments cannot kill it.

A growing number of U.S. lawmakers have recently spoken in support of Bitcoin. Among them is Congressman Patrick McHenry from the state of North Carolina. On Friday, he talked on CNBC’s Squawk Box about how to approach regulation after last week’s market swings. “You can’t put technology back in the box. Innovation is here. We have to embrace. We have to broaden access to our markets, we have to broaden access to our financial products,” he said.

The funny part is paper gains of $72k in the midst of a bubble over 3 months is a big deal for you. You do know people do that all the time, right? And they actually realize the gain.

Get me the date you bought BTC. 11/1/2020 till today it was $118k profit for me. Gotta love accounting software. This stuff is just 2 clicks away. Mind you we get paid seasonally, so July through January roughly we do better. Congrats though on the $72k on paper. I prefer actual cash.

BTC gains are incredible.... In just a few months!

your portfolio of 100 shares (LUV) cant do that :) I figured, this must be a really, really bad day for your BSDS......Tesla buying $1.5B Bitcoin probably made you take the double dose on your pills.

Yep, its fascinating what BSDS does to you. Fascinating to watch. I wonder what else we are going to see. If 80-28 becomes a challenge, what else can happen? The quadruple whammy must have hit like a nuclear bomb today (Tesla buying bitcoin, Tesla accepting Bitcoin, Bitcoin at over 42k and 12 degrees in IL).

I still can't believe you don't get the joke on you. You'll "figure" it out. Last hint for real. If you don't get it at this point, I'd advise everyone to avoid anything this guy says. Simple math seems to be a struggle, so investment advice on spreadsheets might be something to avoid.

I know. Its hard to understand the symptoms of BSDS. But also fascinating. It made sissy slip on easiest math. 80-28 isnt 72. Everyone knows that. But if you have BSDS all bets are off. The Tesla/Bitcoin news pushed her over the edge.

https://markets.businessinsider.com/currencies/news/elon-musk-tesla-6-crypto-experts-15-bln-investment-bitcoin-2021-2-1030056077

Its a tipping point. A new trend has started.

"This moment will likely be looked upon in years to come as a genuine tipping point; Elon and Tesla's support legitimizes crypto and opens up bitcoin to a whole new class of retail and institutional investors. Now it seems all of Wall Street is in bed with this industry - if they weren't paying attention before, they are now."
