Mayor Steve Adler admitted he was on vacation in Mexico when he shared a video urging residents to stay home
Adler posted a Facebook video on November 9 warning Austin residents of a spike in new coronavirus cases
He failed to mention he was speaking from his timeshare in Cabo San Lucas
Adler and his family flew to the Mexican city two days after celebrating his daughter's wedding in Austin
The mayor maintained he did not violate his own orders and said he consulted with health officials before the wedding and trip
He later issued a public apology saying he regretted his actions

And Democrats don't give a shit. They didn't give a shit about Fatty Pitzker, Cuomo, Gruesome, Pelosi's hypocrisy.

They won't question authority when the social revolution is finally within grasp.

I think it would be funny if the citizens of Austin burned down his home while he was on vacation.

Who cares? I understand the hypocrisy of them saying one thing and doing another, so no disagreement there. I take it as a sign that they know Covid is not that bad and we shouldn't be scared (I'm not). Having been to Mexico, USVI, PR, Utah, Nevada, Tennessee, Indiana and Wisconsin during this "pandemic" it's most certainly overhyped. National Guard, PR and Mexico all really didn't give a flip about it. They know it's the flu.

Masks don't work. Social distancing doesn't work. It's all a joke from my experience even knowing a couple dozen people that have had it now. I've unknowingly hung out with people that have had it. I think hand washing is more important than anything and not making out with others, lol. Whether that be a kiss to the cheek to mom when you see her or anything similar. Keep your hands clean and to yourself and you'll be fine. Normal introductions like shaking hands or hugs should be put on hold. Covering your face has done nothing and statistically has made it worse since they were mandated in many places.

TrumpingTits says
I am surprised he even apologized

The left will turn on themselves and they'll do it quickly. His actions speak louder than his apology though. Covid is nothing. It's not even a concern. And he knows it.

Sorry, trying to take the positives out of this. He'd have never gone to Mexico if he was practicing what he was "preaching" and felt covid was a threat. People in high(er) places know more than us. Covid is a sham. This is just one more obvious example that this is about control and ultimately was probably about getting mail in voting going on a nationwide, none monitored manner.

Another California official makes a mockery of COVID-19 rules: San Jose Mayor apologizes for spending Thanksgiving with five households

Mayor Sam Liccardo admitted Tuesday he spent the holiday at his parents' home where he dined with people from five households
State health protocols ban private gatherings of more than three households
Liccardo was forced to issue an apology on social media
The day before Thanksgiving he had urged San Jose residents to 'cancel the big gatherings this year' and said many had 'let our guard down'
He is the latest state official accused of hypocrisy for preaching coronavirus restrictions only to flout - or at the very least bend - the rules themselves
San Francisco Mayor London Breed dined at French Laundry on November 7 to celebrate socialite Gorretti Lo Lui's 60th birthday
She attended with seven guests just three days before she banned indoor dining across the whole of San Francisco
The day before Gov Newsom dined at the same restaurant in a group of 12 in a partially enclosed room at a time when he warned Californians about gatherings

Another Democrat of course.

Wasn’t it the same weekend that Santa Clara sent out a task force to fine businesses that were breaking the rules?
