Ignore that we are in a campaign for a second, and that Trump is the shitty alternative.
We are supposed to be electing a leader. Fatherhood is about leading a family. A father certainly isn't responsible for his adult son's actions, but as a leader of his family, he completely denies that he talked to his son about his life and business dealings?
How can you lead if you don't even communicate with YOUR OWN FAMILY? There are hundreds of thousands of drug addicts in our country. How can Biden take steps to find out about and help them, if he's not even taking steps to find out about his own son?
If - and I'm not saying there IS, but IF there are improper business dealings, with Ukraine, China, or other countries by Hunter, how would this be different than if a cabinet secretary or military general were corruptly taking bribes? Could we just say "oh he didn't ask them about it, so Joe has no responsibility?"
In other words, as Vice President of the country, wouldn't it also fall into your responsibility to look out that your own family ISN'T attempted to be bribed or exploited by your foreign adversaries? Wouldn't you take the BASIC executive action of at least a minor check-in with your OWN FAMILY to see how your official position could be jeopardizing their legal status with the country? Again, I'm not saying it did or did not happen, but Biden says he has NO CLUE, since he doesn't talk to his kid about these foreign jobs he was taking in WELL KNOWN corrupt states that Biden is influencing politics in.
Doesn't that kind of sound more like he wants plausible deniability than that he wants to make sure his family isn't exploited?

Hunter has nothing to offer anyone, so he was not the one making deals. Joe Biden was making the deals, and Hunter was just the laundry man conduit for the payments. Joe arranges payola from Barisma in Ukraine, and he tells Hunter to take a no-show job on Burisma's board for $80k/mo, and remit to "Big Guy" Dad a percentage of the take.

There's a reason Joe had Hunter do it. His one son had a squeaky clean image. Hunter was a fuck up. He needed his degenerate son to perform all this because he had nothing else he would be qualified for. He's such an asshole that even as a US senator/VPs son, he got kicked out of the military. How the hell does that happen?

I would love a libertarian-right candidate, but nobody can break the left like Trump who is the only one with the right strategy, that is never apologize and hit em hard. The left has the advantage of massive mindless group think and Trump was the only one who mobilized and galvanized together many people of different opinions who are just against the leftoid evil. It is totally wrong to see him as a divider, he actually brought most Conservatives libertarians closer together against cultural marxism.

Even if you believe Biden is senile and dull-witted enough to not know what was going on, then the scandal is that the news media is completely uninterested in covering any of this and the FBI / CIA is uninterested in investigating any of this. Why was the FBI sitting on the laptop during the Trump scampeachment theatrics? It sounds to me that Trump was correct in that Biden was compromised (whether Biden knew it or not).
