I think masks are unsanitary and absolutely disgusting. Why the fuck do people not rebel and not wear them? I don't own one and refuse to get one.

In California if you don't wear one they won't let you eat.

I would absolutely do the same except that I still live in California where most places of business won’t allow you inside without one. I guess i could contract all my shopping but I have to visit the store occasionally, so I keep a mask on hand for that.

Lots of companies require their employees to wear them.

I have zero science background besides basic high school and college courses. If the virus can survive for hours, why would you want to breath it into a mask? What happens when you sneeze because of allergies or for other non sick reasons, but were asymptomatic with Covid? Wouldn't that blast a massive viral load into the air?

The argument always is that you're protecting others. I'd argue you're collecting the virus and the potentially blasting it out when you sneeze, more likely not covering your mouth because of the mask and shoot a massive viral load all over. And there's still the fact it was here in January and mask weren't mandated until June. I'm no scientist, but I've yet to see any evidence that masks do anything.

The top epidemiologist in Sweden agrees with you:

I leave it up to the store to enforce their store rules. And fuck passing blame, there is no standard, admit it's your chain or business's personal rule. If they ask me to wear one, I do. If not, I don't. If it's mixed, I don't unless I'm asked on that particular shopping day. Costco is one where it's mixed. My wife washed ours recently. If you use them alot, please wash them as their has been an increase in respiratory infections related to people wearing and not washing their masks. Dark ages people..

Masks have the effect of making everyone afraid all the time.

That is their sole effect, and it is exactly the intended effect.

Thats where I'm at. I'll comply, but I ain't the dip shit wearing it outside or in the car. When I want to be confrontational it doesn't end well for the receiving party. Verbal and last resort physically. I tend to avoid the confrontation altogether because most people are idiots and I understand that.

Had a doc visit today and one tomorrow. They forgot their mask and didn't even notice. Guy basically said it's bull shit. Mind you this was a foot doctor for my heel, but I'm sure like most fields there's some basic training in other realms of medicine. Every doc and nurse I've talked to is annoyed beyond belief about having to wear this shit on 8-12 hour shifts.

https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2020/10/07/fncs-carlson-on-democrat-mask-hypocrisy-this-isnt-science-this-is-medieval-superstition/

But wearing a mask while you ride your bike? While you jog? When you’re alone in your car? While you’re walking in the woods? When you’re standing on the beach? That’s just insane. That’s an insult to science, it’s an insult to commonsense. Rules like that make people cynical.

When you force them to do unreasonable things, they will never believe you again.

Rules like that help no one, and yet, they are ubiquitous. In many Democratic-controlled jurisdictions, masks are required outside. It is the law. You have no choice.

Rules like that are not about public health. Rules like that are a form of obedience training. They’re trying to see what they can make you do.

They can make you do a lot, it turns out. Most of the time, we do what they tell us. We don’t say anything. Partly because people like Chris Cuomo harangue us if we disobey the rules. Chris Cuomo calls us immoral for doubting the rules.

Then in private, he whips off his mask the second he can.

Here are pictures of Chris Cuomo this weekend, standing at a restaurant in Long Island, cigar in his hand, but no mask. Again, we don’t judge Chris Cuomo. Chris Cuomo judges us. And that’s the point.

Nancy Pelosi judges us, too. Watch Pelosi tell you that you’ve got no choice, but to wear a mask at all times. ...

As soon as you begin to take yourself seriously, Thomas Merton once wrote, and imagine that your virtues are important because they are yours, you become the prisoner of your own vanity. That is true. But they’re not the only prisoners.

Suddenly, all of us are prisoners of their vanity. This summer, the vapid Governor of California made a propaganda video informing his citizens of our biggest state that if they don’t wear masks at all times, whether those masks help anyone or not, they’re bad people. ...

The Democrats who hold every statewide office in California understand that for totalitarians to operate a society, they need people to cooperate. So the more people turn on each other and snitch and micromanage one another’s lives, the easier their job of control will be. People without loyalty to each other are easy to command. That’s the point.

W Powers: Masks are a small inconvenience at the grocery store. Thank God they are not making us wear them outdoors too, at least not in any enforceable way, like Biden wants to mandate across the nation, no matter where you are. Could be out in the middle of a field alone for miles, it doesn't matter. It is natural to want to rebel.

But you have to pick your battles and save your energy for the big fight, and it's coming in the form of a vaccine. If the conspiracy theories are right and a large percentage of the population are adverse to taking the vaccine for various reasons, including these insane conspiracy theories that the vaccine will have a very small tracking device that fits neatly inside a molecule and doubles as a transmitter, as well as a receiver, even able to receive a code that could end your life. Do you even want to take a chance with this cure for a virus that has about a 2.8 mortality rate in the US.

SEE: https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/data/mortality

When you compare that to the seasonal flu: (According to the CDC, if they can be believed)

During the 2017-2018 season, the percentage of deaths attributed to pneumonia and influenza (P&I) was at or above the epidemic threshold for 16 consecutive weeks. During the past five seasons, the average number of weeks this indicator was above threshold was 11 (range of 7 to 15 weeks). Nationally, mortality attributed to P&I exceeded 10.0% for four consecutive weeks, peaking at 10.8% during the week ending January 20, 2018.

SEE: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/season/flu-season-2017-2018.htm

Forgive me, but isn't a 10, 11 percent death rate worse than 2.8? The only kind of mask that works is the N95. (Picture of AOC wearing an N95 mask) According to the Food and Drug Administration:

While a surgical mask may be effective in blocking splashes and large-particle droplets, a face mask, by design, does not filter or block very small particles in the air that may be transmitted by coughs, sneezes, or certain medical procedures. Surgical masks also do not provide complete protection from germs and other contaminants because of the loose fit between the surface of the mask and your face.

About the N95 respirator mask:

An N95 respirator is a respiratory protective device designed to achieve a very close facial fit and very efficient filtration of airborne particles. Note that the edges of the respirator are designed to form a seal around the nose and mouth.

However, "The CDC recommends that members of the public use simple cloth face coverings when in a public setting to slow the spread of the virus," which have about zero percent chance of stopping the virus.

SEE: https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/personal-protective-equipment-infection-control/n95-respirators-surgical-masks-and-face-masks#s7

Keeping in mind those figures are based on evidence doctors provide, and they are encouraged to count every death as covid, when other morbidities are apparently the cause, such as HE GOT HIT BY A TRUCK!

Why should we trust them when they up the number of positive tests and deaths to scare people to death?

SEE: https://mojomorning.blogspot.com/2020/05/california-cornavirus-cases.html

Why when the disease doesn't effect children (SO shut down the schools and make them wear a mask) and mainly attacks the elderly, unfortunately) affects black people more than white people (THE DISEASE IS RACIST) WHY take a vaccine, when these people in government, the CDC, WHO, the media, CA NY governors, have been lying to us, making draconian decrees that ruin businesses and do nothing to protect the health of anyone, in fact, do more harm?

I say no. That's where I draw the line. I'm not entrusting my life to any bureaucrat in Washington D. C. and taking their damn vaccine!
13   WookieMan   2020 Oct 12, 6:58am

Get my first Covid test today and results this week. Wish me luck. Got a god damn vacation riding on it. And I avoid the masks at all costs. Hell smoked some pot with neighbors last night that I have no clue if they have it and where they've been. One of the pot smoking neighbor kids did get tested Thursday and she was negative, so should be good to go.
14   FortWayneAsNancyPelosiHaircut   2020 Oct 12, 11:11am

Vaccine thing is gonna be a fucking nightmare. Government is saying that without vaccine or frequent tests kids can't go back to school. They are forcing the issue, and this vaccine is a fucking trial balloon to a disease that does not affect 99.9% of the people. It's fucking insane.
15   Ceffer   2020 Oct 12, 11:23am

The trick is going to be to avoid the initial waves of vaccines. As the vaccine bad reactions and side effects tally, people will start to react, especially when they see they can't sue for shit over it.

They will be imposing real medical consequences over a fake, manufactured pandemic. It might be better to get Covid on purpose and document immunity than to take the vaccine. Just like Trump tries to show the way, that is what he declared when he said he had antibodies aka no mask, no problem mingling in close quarters. Embrace the virus and take your chances to get the immunity rather than have Gates rat poison shot into your arms.
