So that's 0.013%. But certainly worth cratering the world economy. People who have STARVED this year? Estimated 6.7 million. About 7x the COVID death toll. But we should spend BILLIONS of $$ on vaccine development instead of food. Humans are stupid.

STARVED or STARVED to death?

It's %0.0001317523

You're off by two orders of magnitude.

Honestly, Americans refused to prosecute Bush for starting a war of aggression and turned a blind eye. Obama ended the anti-war movement. US citizens are now realizing that the propaganda and war they allowed to be practiced on other nations are coming home to roost.

I'm in the same boat, but as a nation, we deserve it. The time to act was 20 years ago.

But no, I was a "hate America firster", I was "a Hussein sympathizer", I was "a traitor". Fascism requires obedience, and boy did most of the US show it. Well, welcome to the bed you allow edto be made. That was TWO DECADES ago. War criminals walk among us, and they couldn't care less about you than they do about an Iraqi living under a dictator the US supported from at least 1980 to 1988.

See the danger now, now that it is staring at your face?

The intelligence agencies used the same type of useful idiots to topple Guatemala, Iran, Ukraine, Egypt, and many others. Now they are doing it to your nation. See the danger of unchecked power yet? The intelligence agencies MUST be independent, because they control the US government. If they were checked by people you elected, this wouldn't have happened, but your politicians were happy to sell out, and you believed this was for your benefit.

Enjoy the bed you've made.

Remember, we are in a "pandemic", the government and the media told you we were. Must be true - just like that weapons of mass destruction program existed, and we couldn't wait for the final proof to come in the form of a mushroom cloud. Well, at least you realize your mistake, finally, after 2 decades.

But I'm a traitor, that's what most people like you would have called me in 2002.

It's not the Plandemic for nothing. Another nail in the coffin of human rights in Western nations.

And 94% of the dead had 2+ other medical conditions “co-morbidities”, e.g. diabetes and heart disease, cancer and obese, etc.

So, the actual deaths from Wuhan/Corona/Covid are 60,000 .

The media are all in with the panic spreading, so they can’t stop now.

Given the number, it really is a rounding error. I've done the same myself. Yes, missing those 2 zeros is mathematically significant, but in reality it's not with 7B+ people on this planet and the real causes of death.

You are correct sir. Never trust Siri. Original Post fixed.
1,000,000 / 7.59 billion is 0.0001317 or 0.01317%

But I think my point is still valid: the human population will thrive, and cratering the economy was not needed. The response to the pandemic was planned to keep Trump from getting elected, of that I have no doubt.

How many deaths will make it reasonable to close the economy? Instead of complaining about closing the economy why does no one talk about better way to open it gradually.

And if anyone talks about co-morbidities I have one question to them, will they off them selves if they get any co-morbidities?

Considering the death and destruction that actually closing the economy would do would be in the tens of millions... I think the right number would be in the hundreds of millions of deaths.

Keep in mind that Covid is mostly killing people at the very end of their lifespan, 75+. And even these people have a decent chance of surviving it (88-90% survival). And also keep in mind that approximately 3 MILLION Americans die every year of one thing or another.
In that context, 200k is barely 8% of the expected annual death count!

Because the whole covid dempanic was started as a distraction from the utter failure of impeachment. Since then it has taken on a life of its own.

Never before have we shut down the economy over a cold. Never before have we quarantined healthy people. Can anyone justify the extreme measures we continue over a virus that does not make most people SYMPTOMATIC (sick)?

No. What a stupid question.

If I had comorbidities that made the flu or a cold potentially deadly I would self quarantine and wear a mask. I would not expect the world to turn to fascism to protect me while I waited for a vaccine.

Exactly. And the fact most comorbidities are self induced through poor diet and lifestyle choices. Why should the world shut down? People do stupid shit daily. Just because someone jumps off a cliff in a wing suit doesn't mean we shut everything down because they could die. Most people dying were already there or made shit health decisions. I'm okay taking the risk or staying inside if I feel I'm at risk. That is not the government's job.

Believe it or not but Golden Gate bridge has been disfigured with an ugly fence for exactly that reason: some people has jumped off it over the years.

Leftoids all over the US are hoping less people are starving so they can all DIE! OF! COVID! instead because ORANGE! MAN! BAD! and MOAR! LOCK! DOWNS!
15   WookieMan   2020 Sep 29, 5:30pm

Just found out fat fuck Pritzker is shutting down my county because we have a high new case rate. No interest in getting Patrick in trouble, but I have a lot of things I'd like to say I'd do to Pritzker. He's going after purple counties with zero evidence of higher infection rate. There are only so many hospitals and clinics in my county and I know someone that works at each. This is further proof this is pure bull shit. Governors have become dictators at this point and they were fucking worried about Trump.

Haha, I'm an electrical engineer that specializes in electric car charging right now. Before I specialized in chip design/verification, credit card security systems, DOCSIS communication, motion JPEG compression, and industrial computers.

You can't live in farmland (and I grew up there), when this is your stupid career you picked. I cannot live in an area with less than a million people unless I want to flip burgers, and there's not a whole lot of opportunity for flipping burgers in podunk town today.

So being "smart", I guess has condemned me to being stupid. I have noticed, the more highly educated an individual, the more blind trust they place into authorities.

This isn't about a disease, that's just an excuse.

The question is - what is the excuse for? I'm betting economic reset, but I do not know for certain. If it's economic reset this is one of the best ways to do it, because it's generally world war.
