They'll move it to a spot where they'll examine the data and realize they can sell just as much. End caps by the checkout lines and with the social distancing stickers on the ground it will probably result in similar sales. Pretty fruitless attempt at getting people to eat healthy, pun intended.

How about they ban Whole Foods from having boxed wine?

Little kids will cry every time their little grabbing hands get stabbed by kale at the checkout.

It's for your health, so no democracy allowed!

Just like wearing masks outdoors.

You know, I'm actually for this. I hate going shopping with my kids. We get to the checkout line and they fucking start pulling at me for the treats everytime. Now if the treats were homemade whatever, I wouldn't care. But the fact that they are always the shit candies filled with soy and monsanto....no thanks...

Well I guess if it makes your life .1% easier then it’s perfectly fine for government to trample all over the rights of private business owners and their customers.

Just tell the kids they can't have it, it's an important lesson in their life, esp. if it's right in front of them. You don't want them to become leftoid protesters who think they became have it all if they just throw a tantrum amd a molotov cocktail on the street. Further this will open up corruption galore as companies will bribe politicians and commissions to get the healthy snack stamp of approval.

Don't get me wrong it's not my most hated law/ordinance (everyone with kids has similar experiences) and one could argue they suppressed smoking well with the tough policies, but when I think back it has always been like this and my parents would simply tell me no and that was it. Of course what parents did back then could land them in jail today but we've definitely swung too far in accommodating children for everything. My dad would just say or sing "you can't always get what you want". And many grown-up young adults these days still don't understand that and blame others instead.

No, no...you're totally right. Government making personal decisions for us is a serious slippery slope. I had a geriatric moment, even though I'm just 41 :(

Vegan is terrible for your health! Meat is getting a bad rap just so then can sell more Frankenstein burgers. Just like when butter was bad for you here's crap inflammatory canola oil. Just do the opposite of everything they say
