They've been trying that since day 1. The first day of Minnesota riots they claimed it was the far right. It's never stuck though. They subtlely test out their lies before they go full throttle. You have to be far far left to believe that shit.

I've heard their occasional claims that it was the far right from the beginning.
For example, a recent high profile example was when they said that trump sent his "soldiers" into portland when this caravan of trump supporters arrived. They blamed the violence on them.
Also, in the past there actually have been some arrests of right wing agitators who pretended to be BLM / antifa so they could stir mayhem. In particular they seem to like reporting on the boogaloo boys. These cases are legit from what I can see, despite being much fewer in numbers.
Its unfortunate because they can support their narrative that the right is the violent one with just a few examples to point to, since most people dont want to spend much time investigating, and a few quick examples are enough to sway their decision.

The Boogaloo boys are pro Islam extremists and support Palestine and are butt hurt with Trump's Israel support.
It's as legit as the FBI saying that the three State fires were NOT set by Antifa fags, even though there's been 5 or 6 arrests.
The FBI needs to go, at this point, they are nothing but an Anarchist Political organization hell bent on bringing America down, and facilitating the Communist take over.

Left wing friend for the first time replies it was right-wing extremists who infiltrated the protests. This was the first time she brought that yarn up. So I am guessing her left wing media sources are gaslighting that now.

My reply: Right. Someone has been watching too much CNN. A CNN that only suddenly has decided that these 'peaceful protests' are actually riots after insulting everyone's intelligence by
claiming the exact opposite for months?
And then there are Kamala Harris' gleeful comments to a reporter about the riots followed up by her personal involvement with bailing out rioters from jail. Oops!
I guess she is a right-wing extremist under the control of Donald Trump.
