This from a lifetime NFL fan who punched holes in the wall when the Bills lost that first of four - to being a PSL owner for last five years in my transplant city- I'm done with it.
Wife and I calculated our total out of pocket for last season was well in excess of $4,000 - that's money we're spending on long weekends trips this season.
Watching grown men playing sports makes me a child. Paying people to lecture to me makes me a cuck. It's a line I can't cross. F-you NFL.

I've been done with football since last year. Dont miss it a bit. Spent more time with the family, no more sitting on the couch all day on Sunday. The alternative sports are actually fun to watch like cornhole, bass fishing and gocart racing.

Have friends that won't hang out because they have a fantasy draft and sit at their computer. The lines of fandom have disappeared and it's now based on individual players.

I'm staying with my fantasy football leagues to keep my connections with friends and family, but this may be the last year. I don't care to watch the games anymore. I just look at my phone every now and then to see what points my teams have scored. It really sucks because I used to get excited about each NFL season. Now that they're preaching to me and insinuating I'm a racist, it's not really any fun anymore.

I think I’ll try watching the XFL this year. Saw a few games last year, it was good, players were playing hard. I enjoy UFC too. You got to watch something while you’re drinking.

I cancelled my online streaming subscription two months back before automatic renewal. That's the only sport I have ever paid to watch. It was quite a great deal, actually. All 15 games every week. Plus, backlog for over 10 years. Best part: edited versions that cut out all the standing around bits so you can watch every play and some replays of an entire game during a single 45 minute workout.

Would be a shame for the looters and rioters to consider NFL stadiums for their next Black Klux Klan mostly “peaceful” protest/dumpster fire street gang action(s). Watching the stadiums burn though would be more entertaining than watching overgrown/overpaid babies piss and moan and generally disappoint their fans.

What's funny is that in the video of the chiefs getting boo'd, the stadium then piped applause after the fact since they didn't expect that reaction. You can hear it after the announcer says "thank you."

After the singing duo of Chloe and Halle sang the national anthem — each wearing an activist t-shirt — both the Chiefs and Texans took the field for a mass demonstration before kickoff.
The teams ran out onto the field, lined up in a single row stretching down its length, and linked arms.
But the 17,000 fans allowed to populate the stands seemed to have a unity of their own as they loudly booed the players and their show of unity.
There was no unity during the national anthem, though, with the teams engaging in separate reactions to the songs.
The Chiefs took the field and linked arms during both the national anthem and the so-called “Black National Anthem,” entitled “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The team remained standing except for Alex Okafor who took a knee during the national anthem. On the other hand, the Texans stayed in the locker for both the national anthem and “black national anthem.”
