My Congressman ... XOXO.....

By Andrew Blake - The Washington Times - Thursday, September 3, 2020
Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida became the latest Republican congressman Thursday to recommend President Trump pardon former U.S. intelligence contractor and leaker Edward J. Snowden.

Mr. Gaetz, one of Mr. Trump’s staunchest defenders in Congress, suggested on Twitter that the president intervene and end the government’s case against the wanted secret-spiller.

“Edward @Snowden deserves a pardon from President @realDonaldTrump,” Mr. Gaetz said on Twitter in a post tagging each of their accounts on the social media service.

I'd like him to be pardoned, he really did tell us all the fucked up shit our government was doing. And I hope he does get a pardon.

I have always been on the fence with what should happen, as time has went I'm also a bit more leaning towards a pardon.

Sounds like Snowden's pardon could happen, and I hope it does:

It was only a couple weeks ago that Trump said “I’m going to take a very good look at it” when asked about a possible Snowden pardon.

The president raised eyebrows and anxiety across the D.C. beltway with his unprecedented remarks: “There are a lot of people that think that he is not being treated fairly. I mean, I hear that.”

Saw that a couple weeks ago. Trump initially has said he thought Snowden belonged in prison. Now he’s maybe changing his mind?

It would be a baller move and set him apart from other Presidents. It would also piss the intelligence agencies off BIG TIME.
But they already hate him and have been working to do a coup on him, so ... meh?

Facebook officially silences the President of the United States. For better or worse, this will be remembered as a turning point in the battle for control over digital speech.

Trump should pardon Snowden.

Eh, if he broke the law he broke the law. I've always been indifferent on this one. Regardless of what anyone is going to say, there were avenues to get the information out legally.

If we want illegal immigrants booted, he committed an illegal act. I'm not for different standards for different crimes. He made his bed and now has to sleep in it. Oh well? Did any thinking person not realize what was going on? He didn't give us any info. You'd be a dip shit to not realize what the government does. And fact is 80% give no shits about it.

While true, he did it in an unlawful manner. There were ways to do it without ever exposing yourself. He was sloppy. He's got to own that. If he gets pardoned I really don't care. I don't lay down at night wondering if Snowden nerd boy will get pardoned.

Leak the info and don't get caught. Guy is raised up as some hero/champion and fucked up. There were other avenues. He wanted his fame. He seems egotistical or narcissist.

there is no lawful way to expose that level of corruption Wookie. you believe in law and order too much. you think they wouldn’t prosecute or murder him for any attempt?

It's not hard. Been a part of it. Don't have to believe me. Whatever. He could have done it differently. NuttBoxer before he left did give some good advice. I've gotten a lot of people in trouble and I'm untraceable. Snowden was going for shock and awe. Bad move.

I sure hope it's true!
