The state tracks flu deaths only among those younger then 65, because health officials say it’s a more accurate measure of the severity of a flu season. This is in part because older people generally have weaker immune systems and their vulnerability to illnesses makes it more difficult to pinpoint the flu as the singular cause of death.
"

Now apply the same logic to Covid and tell me what you think the corrected number of deaths would be.

It's a math problem and the beauty of math is it doesn't lie. But it's being spun huge. There's zero chances a country with 40 cities that are larger population wise than Chicago can contain this virus. It's impossible regardless of how draconian they're allowed to be with their own people either. We may never find out the true strength and reach of this virus because the country with 1/5 of the world living in it is flat out lying. And they were from day one.

It's a new virus, that as far as we know nobody has any immunities from it. We've reached a doubly bad flu season, flu seasons which have a vaccine that is adequate at best for 40% or so of the population. It doesn't kill our youth. It doesn't kill our productive adults. As mell points out the flu kills a bunch of people over 65 and so does this. What is the damn difference? What if we don't get an even adequate vaccine? Do we wear masks and stay home 24/7?

Also, we'll see. I think I may have it currently. I've felt like absolute garbage all morning. Had a few drinks around the pool yesterday, but nothing remotely close to making me feel this way. No energy, feel like I weight 500lbs and all my joints ache like a mother fucker. No fever, no shortness of breath and none of the smell/taste stuff. I'll be tested in October for a trip so I'll find out. If I have it and this is it, this will go down as the biggest failure of a reaction in the history of the world. I've felt worse the day after a hard workout. If that's what this is Jesus our country is full of pussies or media that should literally be hung in the public square.
