He did this after the Senate Rinos rebelled against him last few weeks.
Did anyone see the SOTU address after he said he will work with House and the Senate to lower prescription drug prices. Chuck Grassley and Mitch McConnell were in the front row guffawing and hands on each other shoulder having a good minute long laugh about it. That struck me as the most bizarre moment of the whole SOTU, even more bizarre than Pelosi ripping up the Speech at the end. It wasn't a, "That's great news, we've been trying to do that for years." Jubilation. It was more like "Who in the fuck does this guy think he is, he doesn't know how this thing works." laugh. They did everything but make the Jerk Off gesture with their hands while were at it.
