Could I wear a MAGA hat and walk down the street in any major city today and not be berated? I think it would be worse: I would have my physical safety threatened, or actually violated. Almost all these top cities have restrictive gun laws. This means I'll have to wait for law enforcement to arrive to save me from an imminent threat. "When seconds matter, help is only minutes away." After I'm severely injured or killed, I'm sure the first responders will feel really bad they didn't save the poor white guy who came to the Big City to visit.

This is why I really don't need to visit these places anymore. Obi-wan described Mos Isely as "A wretched hive of scum and villainy." He might have well been talking about today's Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia or Portland. Our once great cities have fallen to the dark side. Enter at your own peril.

I think that you’d be just fine in OKC or Jacksonville, but lord help you in Los Angeles. I think I could barely get away with it in my suburb but where I work? Hell no. I wouldn’t make it to my car without getting in a fight. And that’s sad because I bet anyone who objects cant articulate any factual basis for their hatred.

I'm pretty sure it's higher than that. At least in CA.

Actually once I’m retired I’m tempted to enroll in college just to give the kids a real education. I can just imagine the look on the leftist teachers faces when I know more than they do and then again when I have zero fear of consequences when I challenge a poor grade given for my political views and then an age discrimination complaint just for the hell of it.

Eh. Let the system crumble. As we’ve seen the left has a tendency to eat their own. I’m only about 8 years from college age for my oldest (holy fuck...). We’ve been talking with a lot of other parents about getting trained in a trade and taking CC courses on the side to learn business. Used to be you’d get stink eye for even mentioning something like that. People are becoming very wary of colleges, especially ones educated by them in the late 90’s to now. I think that was the beginning phase of the super left being created.

You wouldn’t catch me at a college now unless it was to look at the (legal) eye candy.

I exercise some caution about expressing myself but not too much beyond what is being considerate of others (dimwits).

Liberals are sometimes cautious because they are usually defending the losers but they are talking with the people who actually pay taxes to support the losers.

Liking society’s losers, illegals, criminals, and others (600 lbs, Bruce Jenner, Andy Cohen, etc.) more than liking normal people is weird behavior and the average liberal knows it.

The liberals remind me of the crazy hoarder who also has 30 cats and they are dying from neglect but he loves them all.
