I touted Goya as a good alternative to Del Monte, Kraft, Keebler, McCormick, and other brands. At an economical price. It was my hope people would buy it and try it. Especially the beans, they even have frozen veggies. I hoped they would like it, and discover a great brand that didn't need to be canceled. They are premium products at bargain price.

I think a SJW approach wont be any different than a short sighted Liberal SJW approach.
A Buycott should be people buying a product because they tried and liked it, or didn't. And either continue to buy it or don't. Whole shelves are being cleared, to donate to charity food banks. The problem with that, the food banks get saturated with Goya food, or the really crappy stuff that even the Latino's don't buy and eat. Think canned Chili, who eats canned Chili? Nobody, and nobody eats canned Latin Stews and weird looking beans with strange lumps in it. All that food will just be wasted, people will get it, and be tired of it. let it sit in their cabinets until it expires and end up throwing it away. But in the meantime, people that wanted the brand to try, wont find any on the shelf. And those that already know about it, wont find any either. What should have been a nice bump in loyal customers. Will probably end up turning into a onetime business bump. They might ramp up production thinking it's the new norm. Only to find no buyers for the excess they'll produce.

Buy and try Goya.

They sell their products worldwide and you are concerned that some celebrities and snowflakes that never buy food that needs to be prepared want to cancel them.

My SF buddy that I mentioned texts went back to normal after we decided to not talk politics blew up my email today over Ivanka selling Goya.

Took all my might to get us back on non-pol track. At least without being a dick. It's as if I have some friends that I love that are punching themselves in the face and don't realize it. I try to explain in the past but I give up. Nearly 25 years back in CA surrounded by this shit has just worn me down. Those in their 40s like me don't even seem to fucking realize that the left isn't liberal at all anymore. That's what they WERE but I dunno anymore. That's what I signed up for. No way I ever EVER would have guessed the conservatives would be the protectors of liberalism when I was young. Fuck.

I like their adobe smoked jalapenos but I spent a good part of my growing up years in San Antonio. I even put up a San Diego recipe which uses them here on patnet!

Many have never seen inside a Supermarket, or at least only very rarely. The numbers of Urban Shitlib Trustfund babies who only buy liquor and cereal at the bodega and order Sushi or Thai or Soylent delivered is substantial.
