I hoped they would like it, and discover a great brand that didn't need to be canceled.
Just like the libs that don't live near any black people, these white kids that want to cancel goya have never bought a goya product.
I think a SJW approach wont be any different than a short sighted Liberal SJW approach.
A Buycott should be people buying a product because they tried and liked it, or didn't. And either continue to buy it or don't. Whole shelves are being cleared, to donate to charity food banks. The problem with that, the food banks get saturated with Goya food, or the really crappy stuff that even the Latino's don't buy and eat. Think canned Chili, who eats canned Chili? Nobody, and nobody eats canned Latin Stews and weird looking beans with strange lumps in it. All that food will just be wasted, people will get it, and be tired of it. let it sit in their cabinets until it expires and end up throwing it away. But in the meantime, people that wanted the brand to try, wont find any on the shelf. And those that already know about it, wont find any either. What should have been a nice bump in loyal customers. Will probably end up turning into a onetime business bump. They might ramp up production thinking it's the new norm. Only to find no buyers for the excess they'll produce.
Buy and try Goya.
