“I think there’s a risk that home prices in urban areas may decline,” Nobel Prize-winning economist Robert Shiller told CNBC.
The benefits of city living, such as restaurants, museums or theater shows, have been put into question during the coronavirus pandemic, according to Shiller.
Shiller said assets are “highly priced” across major markets, including housing, stocks and bonds.

The coronavirus pandemic could cause a decline in urban housing prices if employees continue to work from home and forgo city life, according to Nobel Prize-winning economist Robert Shiller.

“I think there’s a risk that home prices in urban areas may decline,” Shiller said in a CNBC interview.

Patrick says
"The benefits of city living, such as restaurants, museums or theater shows, are becoming far outweighed by the risk of looting, being shot, knifed, raped, no police, assorted anti-white haters, assorted haters of the USA, folks who always want a handout but never want to work, and parasite politicians kowtowing to these scumbags. Other than that, cities aren't so bad, really."

.

Yeah, escape from California coast, where the home price to income ratio is 9.5, to "cheaper" Las Vegas, where the ratio is "only" 4.5.

This seems obvious, a trend that will continue as more jobs are made work from home. Without the commute to consider, and without entertainment options to enjoy, cities are giant rat traps.
