They'll say he doesn't have the authority to do it, and that it doesn't go far enough. They'll try to bundle their version in with it, that gives Naturalized citizenship to every transgender in the world, and it will be tied up in Congress until the election.

Trump knows it, I know it, most People know it, now you know it to.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. With White people not procreating, becoming non-religious and crazy liberal; latins may be the conservatives best bet. Latins love jesus, are family centric, and fuck like bunnies. Believe me, they are not down with this BLM or LBGTQ bullshit.

...they may very well may become the heart and soul of the conservative re-emergence, if played right.

Not all White people are idiots, just 50% of us, the damn Yankee College Boys in the city. Also not all blacks and Hispanics are. Good people are good people, but yeah point taken.
4   Karloff   2020 Jul 10, 7:20pm

Atrocious. So much here that's gone wrong. DACA was put in place by Obama's unconstitutional EO, which the Establishment cheered for. Trump tries to end it with an EO, and the Establishment contorts logic and reason to somehow prevent it.

Then Trump signs this?? This is exactly what he was voted in to prevent, not push forward.

How is one to believe there is any hope at all of fixing a system so corrupt by working within the confines of it?
5   RC2006   2020 Jul 10, 7:53pm

Guess he doesn't want to run a second term after all, don't think this can be surgar coated. Regan signed the last amnysty and that was one of the stupidest things he ever did and only helped dems and turned CA solid blue.

Shit if he doesn't deliver on the big reveal.

If he puts the commies on the ground with his boot on their Necks, Obama especially. Then this will be forgotten. Because it was an unconstitutional EO when Obama made it, and it's an Unconstitutional one now. I fully expect Nadler, Nancy, and Pencil Neck to put the kibosh on it by next week. Trump hasn't actually signed it yet, he said, he's going to. This is about the third time, he's made that proclamation only to be stopped by the Dems and RINO's ever time.

The Dems don't want immigration sorted out, what in the hell will they promise and lie about when they run for office, if things are good?

Trump has finally realized that he can do whatever he wants (just like the libs) and roll to victory in 2020...reagan signed the amnesty bill in 86...since then CA has had two 2 term repub governors......wilson and Schwarzenegger.....doesn't sound like that bill turned CA solid blue

I’ve been saying the same thing for years. Latinx people are family centric, religious, and fun loving. They’re Americans in every sense of the definition and it’s time we acknowledged them as fellow conservatives and allies against the woke White leftist cabal. This isn’t about race, it’s about ideology and whether or not we can sustain society in the long term or if it will dragged down and savaged by leftist wolves.

Latinx people are our best hope.

To give a small anecdotal experience.
My latinx coworkers are all pro-Trump at this point, even though they are hesitant to blast it because of cultural inertia. They see how corrupt and stupid Democrat leadership is, and they’re tired of it. As more and more Latinx people wake up and realize that they’re in no danger of deportation and are in far more danger of living in the same type of hell hole they escaped by coming here, they will convert to being conservatives and never leave the party.

Because of the gender specific nature of the Spanish language, a different word is required. Rather than Latino (male) or Latina (female) we go with Latinx.
That’s the reason and it seems reasonable to me.

Agreed - I never thought of Latinos to be culturally distant, they are like Spanish or Italians and Latino is an invented fictional race anyways. Trump was right though that esp. the Mexican govt often sends the bad as it likes to get rid of them and there are many illegals and criminals/gangs and those probably will continue to back Democrats for the time being. However the vast majority of Latinos are hard working and upstanding people and the more succeed the more will turn Conservative. They are mostly Catholic and not huge fans of the lgbtqxyz++awesomo crowd and also no fan of marxism. The problem is likely their youth again though, similar to the white youth, getting indoctrinated by the leftoid education system. You don't see many older Hispanics protest, they are all young, brainwashed and foolish. Time for Mom and Pop to slap some sense into their kids again ;)
20   mell   2020 Jul 11, 9:24am

Also note that kids always have been more left than grown-ups - it's human nature to be more idealistic as a kid and more rational as a grown up. We all were. However never before has been cultural-marxist leftoid bullshit openly taught in school and never before have kids been turned into agitators. Yes, the educational environment has always been more left leaning, but what's going on in todays schools an universities is unprecedented.

And it’s this election that might disprove the rule. Young people are getting absolutely hosed by lockdown policies largely enacted by the elderly, promoted by people who are Middle Aged+. It’s a simple dichotomy between older and younger people. Older people want lockdowns which disproportionately hose young people. Young people want to open up which puts older people at more risk of contracting Covid.
And it’s become a Left-Right issue, with the Right and Trump firmly on the side of opening back up.

This might be the first election ever where young people vote mostly conservative and older people vote mostly left.

I'm not as convinced but really hope so and optimistic - esp. since the current fudged poll numbers mean jack.

Not if you ask China, Vietnam, Cuba, or Venezuela. Communism always gets its foothold in the Universities of the Host Country it infects.

That sad reality started with Plato's original "Academy." Plato's "Philosopher King" was essentially a communist dictator.

The academic environment fosters a very distorted view of one person having far superior knowledge than the others in the classroom. In real life, pluralisitic political decision making, like in (qualified) voting by economically competent/independent in a republic, makes for better results because nobody has all the answers in the real world, quite unlike the exams in the academic environment.

English word "Latin" is already gender-neutral. The "x" is simply redundant.

Bullshit - DACA was problematic since many kids here would be hard to find and have cut ties with family abroad, it makes sense to give them a one time path to citizenship as longs as you close all the loopholes of coming into this country illegal in the first place and stop the practice of anchor babies. Politics is always also about what's practical, and I don't want to spend money on ICE running around to find Daca kids in a cat and mouse game. If they take the legal path extended to them great, if not and they surface then kick them out. Also the SCOTUS has ruled on this and there's no point in fighting it. Let's be pragmatic about it and that's exactly what Trump is in this case.

You can say similar things about Irish Americans, German, Polish who didn't always follow the law but were naturalized. The point is to secure the borders in the first place and abolish anchor babies and trafficking. I'm all for kicking criminals out, no matter the age, but the SCOTUS has ruled that the program needs to keep going, even with Trump's conservative picks. Some may say he was betrayed but it doesn't matter, that's why there's a SCOTUS. If he can somehow put a solid policy in place that replaces the current Daca or can even end it so it will be approved by the SCOTUS if challenged it's a win because in the meantime he can't do anything except for keeping it going in its current poorly defined form with many loop holes. I don't consider that surrender. I'd rather have the borders solidified and trafficking being stopped so you don't create the problem of unaccountable children in the first place.

Unconditional surrender on DACA won't bring these closer. If anything it makes the enemy bolder and eager to push for more concessions.

And remind me how that "amnesty in exchange for border security" deal worked the last time it was tried...

That's a valid point, however Trump needs all the independents he can get come November or sleepy creepy demented Joe will plunge this country into chaos. I think it's not practical to actively look for DACA kids to expel them, the money can be used elsewhere on security much better.

Well, last time everyone was screaming about him needing to "move to the center" in order to win, "because conventional wisdom". He went the opposite way and won. So IDK if it helps or harms him in the end, but I'm severely disappointed. Of course my vote as CA resident doesn't count in POTUS elections.

It's easy if the proper legislation is in place. They'll come find the authorities when they:

1. Can't get a job.
2. Can't go to school.
3. Can't get free shit.

They'll be asking for a ticket out if and only if that's their only option.

I'm totally against this. We learned this lesson from Reagan. This will just encourage more.

I think we need to go further and invalidate all the fucking anchor babies that were dropped here going back to Reagan. There are literal baby mills in CA where Chinese fly in, pop em out, get their cert then go back to China.

Fuck this. No other country in the world accepts this shit so I don't either.
