Just visited and we were watching Fox together, the part about BLM and the May 19th Organization and Susan Rosenberg on Tucker.

Gonna help her buy a 9mm or .22LR Pistol in the near future (she doesn't want a shotgun)

TPB, she lives in one of those large elderly communites you probably know of.

Last holidays and this time, I'm noticing a lot of young people walking around who don't belong in a 55+ limited community with security and both entrances. Not visitng Grandma on the weekend, but at all hours of day or night, weekday or weekend.

I think the Wokey-doke is making management fearful of cracking down on illegal multigen families living there.

Watch out. She might shoot you if you aren't wearing clean underwear.

I have a Glock 42 in .380 and I like it. I carried it in Florida.

With a Pearce extension on the magazine ($8) it is great to hold. The trigger is pretty good, and very good compared to other Glocks.

.380 is a good self defense caliber and the gun is easy to control and hit what you point it at.

Of course a 22 is still going to bother a bad guy plenty.

For the situation you describe I always think a revolver is nice like the S & W Ladysmith.

Revolvers are just dumb simple to operate (which is really good) and reliable like nothing. I have fired this revolver with .38 special rounds and it was nicely easy to handle and accurate.

Plus, you can get them with pretty handles.

Can bad guys have guns?

Only if I get to decide who's good and who's bad. Isn't that what you want?

Hammerless snubbie:
Pros: hammer won't get caught in clothing.
Small and simple. No slide so no need to keep hammer cocked(?).
Cons: long trigger pull.

Great choice for pocket carry or, in grandma's situation, can be easily carried in a robe pocket.
