I read another patnet post here which linked to this article
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/07/02/farage-vindicated-u-turn-continues-bbc-no-blm-badges-platforming-far-left-agenda/

which said BBC wont support BLM due to it being hijacked by marxist political extremists. It also said:
While all these bodies have only recently been insinuating that BLM has been “hijacked” by far-left anarchists, the movement has been clear for years in its endeavours to tear down law and order and destroy capitalism. The American co-founder of Black Lives Matter Patrisse Cullors has been calling to “defund” alleged racist police departments since 2016.

Neither are its far-left extremist roots a recent revelation, either, with Breitbart News reporting in 2015 that Cullors was mentored by Eric Mann, a communist-supporting former domestic terrorist who worked with Bill Ayers, the former head of the radical militant left-wing Weather Underground.

Key point:
- The founder of BLM, Patrisse Cullors, was mentored by Eric Mann, who worked w/ Bill Ayers, the former head of the marxist Weather Underground.

I'd only previously heard of the weather website, Weather Underground, not the political group. So I read some parts of this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_Underground
(the intro, and this part)

Anti-imperialism, anti-racism, and white privilege
Weather maintained that their stance differed from the rest of the movements at the time in the sense that they predicated their critiques on the notion that they were engaged in "an anti-imperialist, anti-racist struggle".[48] Weather put the international proletariat at the center of their political theory. Weather warned that other political theories, including those addressing class interests or youth interests, were "bound to lead in a racist and chauvinist direction".[48] Weather denounced other political theories of the time as "objectively racist" if they did not side with the international proletariat; such political theories, they argued, needed to be "smashed".[49][50]

Members of Weather further contended that efforts at "organizing whites against their own perceived oppression" were "attempts by whites to carve out even more privilege than they already derive from the imperialist nexus".[48] Weather's political theory sought to make every struggle an anti-imperialist, anti-racist struggle; out of this premise came their interrogation of critical concepts that would later be known as "white privilege". As historian Dan Berger writes, Weather raised the question "what does it means to be a white person opposing racism and imperialism?"[51]

At one point, the Weathermen adopted the belief that all white babies were "tainted with the original sin of "skin privilege", declaring "all white babies are pigs" with one Weatherwoman telling feminist poet Robin Morgan "You have no right to that pig male baby" after she saw Morgan breastfeeding her son and told Morgan to put the baby in the garbage. Charles Manson was an obsession with the group and Bernadine Dorn claimed he truly understood the iniquity of white America, with the Manson family being praised for the murder of Sharon Tate; Dorn's cell subsequently made its salute a four-fingered gesture that represented the "fork" used to stab Tate.[52][53]

- They called everything "objectively racist" back then, if it didn't jive w/ their political ideology, just like today - if you aren't on their side, you are racist.
- They tried to make everything into an "anti-imperialism, anti-racism" struggle. Again, "everything racist".
- The early roots of what would be known as "white privilege" started there.
- Being born with white skin is an original sin & "white babies are pigs". We see how this white loathing and hatred has become common-place and socially accepted.

Holy shit! This crap started back in the 70's? How the hell did this group make such a comeback? Their ideas have infiltrated so many places now.

I highly recommend the first 20 minutes of this video that lays out MLK's humanist vision versus what some refer to as the successor ideology (to liberalism).

I had an older cousin on my mother's side who became involved with the Chicago 7. My uncle's were all loaded, and his father spent gobs on lawyers to keep him out of prison, though he did a stretch. I don't know much about the details, except that this cousin was a mean Irish Asshoe bully who picked on us the few times we met.
