Some have downplayed the looting and violence. Politicians, along with sympathetic members of the national media, lined up to apologize or justify the destruction. Seattle Councilmember Tammy Morales said “what I don’t want to hear is for our constituents to be told to be civil, not to be reactionary, to be told that looting doesn’t solve anything” at a council session Monday.

Sally Kohn, a liberal political commentator, tweeted: “Property is insured and can be replaced. Lives cannot. Check your priorities, America.”

But the violence didn’t end with buildings reduced to ashes or broken windows. Lives can’t be replaced. Fifteen people have died since the protests, riots and looting began, including a former police captain, an officer of the DHS and a peaceful protester who was just trying to get home. They are, for the most part, young people. Like Floyd, many of them are minorities themselves.

But, unlike Floyd, they didn't have an extensive criminal record and weren't high on dozen of illegal substances. Therefore their lives don't matter.

Based on this, they are entitled to at least 15 more national rioting and looting rampages.
The 'insurance pays for the damage so it doesn't matter' meme keeps cropping up as justification. I wonder if that works in court: "Didun Do Nuffin, Insurance Pays For It Anyway" defense.
Made me wonder if the several instances of smash 'n grab around the Bay Area by groups of black youths on Apple stores and clothes outlets were dress rehearsal.

Imagine if our garbage media spent 1% of the time showing the tragic video of Dorn lying on the sidewalk dying after being shot by a thug?

Might whip up some passions - no?

Might also provide some much needed perspective of what our cops are dealing with in many African American communities.

But our Media and Democrats are garbage people trying their best to keep race relations white hot until the November election.

Where does this idiot live?

Did she just extend an invitation to burn down her home and car? They are insured, right?

Did she just extend an invitation to strip her butt naked, then rape and beat her to within an inch of death? She has medical insurance, right?

This is exactly what she did. Except she probably lives in some gated community with armed private guard on patrol 24x7.
