They use the EU to guard their captive market, constantly rewriting laws to benefit German manufacturers and using EU and Bank control to pressure other EU Nations in their favor..
They've been banning our chicken and much agra since the 1950s, long before Chloronation (which is their WTO/GATT rationalization to keep the ban on)
They are giving the Russians Hard Currency to give them Nat Gas via Nordstream
They are grossly underfunding their NATO commitment.
They give almost no assistance to the USA in international affairs.
Never, ever let one European Country dominate the continent. Reforming the EU back into a mutual free trade/tourism zone away from a Federal States of Europe should be a primary US Foreign Policy goal.
