COVID is so dangerous, stay inside, unless you want to riot for the death of someone that everyone thinks is bad and torch a now struggling economy.

Anyone who believes that is a fool. Nearly every criminal claims they are innocent. Very few are.

Poor wording on my part. Meant something along the lines that Floyd's death was senseless and everyone knows it's bad, so riot for something we all know was bad.

Nearly every criminal
is a sociopath or psychopath who has no conscience and knows completely that what they are doing is wrong. They can control themselves because they won't commit a heinous crime like rape or murder in front of authorities. They can't be rehabilitated, which was the big fad in the 70's as they were turned loose over and over. Look up Kenneth Wayne McDuff, only the death penalty finally stopped him.

I know he resisted. But if he didn't have a weapon and there were 4 officers on site overall, killing him was totally unnecessary.

The 800lbs gorilla in the room (no pun intended) is the fact that the people that want unions and the protection that comes with them, caused this whole thing. They should be looking in the mirror and be upset with themselves. Not burning private businesses and assaulting innocent people.

This cop should have never been on the police force after dozens of complaints. This is what the left creates when it wants employee protection so they don't have to really do actual work. It's a sickness. There's no other way to interpret it. If you have skills you should get paid more than others, not what was negotiated for you by a 3rd party skimming from your paycheck. It's a sign of weakness that you'd let shittier workers get paid the same as you for doing less work or poor work. Fuck unions for causing all this harm to our country.

This is partially the truth of the matter. The other truth is that what the protestors really need for change is to make the laws so that police have fewer probable causes to stop people and also change the laws so that police misconduct can be more easily charged as a crime.

But it’s Dems that run almost all the states where the worst rioting occurred. They could amend their laws but haven’t. And in true ignorant fashion, the protestors probably vote 99% democrat and keep voting in the same people over and over.

I’ll give them a start. Me, a conservative Republican, would for certain support removing California’s front window tint law. It’s legal in Nevada and AZ and So Cal gets hot as balls. One less probable cause item.

I’d also support a bill that makes it so if the cops pull over someone for a mechanical or physical vehicle defect, they can only cite the person and let them go, short of some other visible crime readily apparent. No asking where the person is going or any of that other bullshit.

So see I’m willing to compromise. Somehow I doubt any of the protestors or their Democrat handlers would agree to any of this, even though it very obviously would be less of a hassle on minority communities and probably would save a few lives.

You know we're on the same page. No need to pull a Tim. I've yet to see a thread on this site with 10+ comments not get derailed. Not a dis against the site or anyone in particular, just the reality of what happens here. A conversation about scrambled eggs turns into the best way to punch a homeless person.
