I was told off camera the demonstration was unplanned and spontaneous and someone just assumed a leadership roll without being appointed, and the event had no organizer. If it was a spontaneous occurrence, it was an amazing thing. Possible, but how unlikely...
After I left Saturday night, around 8:30, 9:00, I thought that was the end of the demonstration, but no, people came out after dark and started looting and setting fires, and that surprised me, because I thought the crowd dispersed and they seemed peaceful, until the police moved in and started firing their rubber bullets.
This is how these things escalate and this curfew is on for the entire week, which will do nothing to quell peoples Pent up rage. MORE to follow.
