Tesla is restarting production today against Alameda County rules. I will be on the line with everyone else. If anyone is arrested, I ask that it only be me.

He did another interview with Joe Rogan that I watched last night. He's always interesting.

employing people in California had so many catch 22s and regulations favoring the employees, plus the general atmosphere of unchecked litigiousness, that it was a nightmare to employ people in this state. You just could not win.Additionally, those production plants are located in what is now quite expensive area to live. Not quite Palo Alto, but I bet you'd have a hard time buying a shack within 1/2 hour commuting distance that was priced under $700k. You're not going to be able to afford that on a "factory job" salary of any sort. I believe Musk's original thinking was having a completely automated factory and not having to employ assembly-line workers at all. Now it sounds like just the opposite: The design of his cars is such that automation is more difficult than with many commodity cars.
So he's divesting himself of these properties, so he can work on SpaceX.... GOING! TO! MARS!

If we took all the people in Texas, and moved them to California, and took all the people in California, and moved them to Texas, do you think that would clear up the problem, or would we just now have two states infected with LibbyFuck self destructive zombie herds?
If one lives in CA., they can move to a deplorable, shithole Red State or deal with majority rule in CA.Big change from "you REPTARDS aren't successful enough WAWAWA!!!!!!!!!" tantrum. It's Musk afterall.
When I was younger, I had a friend accepted to Stanford Med who was curious about psychiatry. We went to the psychiatric wards at UCLA, and he took me into a ward where the crazy people were wandering around. He asked the doctor there for a tour. The doctor said "Help yourself", never even made eye contact with us, grabbed a flamboyant neck scarf, coat and fedora and left us with the whackos.
There is nothing more disorienting than being surrounded by true crazies. It actually causes almost immediate disequilibrium and disorientation, because every crazy person is like a disruptive force who defies logic and reason. There is no way to describe them except to imitate exactly what they do, because there is no synoptic threads to their behaviors.
You just want to do what that doctor did, get away from them to achieve some kind of true north again, if only briefly.
That's the way I feel in California now. It has become increasingly an open air asylum, and it's hard to understand how all this happened and continues to get worse. It disrupts any sense of balance or reason.
