Impressive analysis. Great focus on logic and evidence.

If that clinic asked cars to get in a line, because TV cameras were going to be there, OMG,...just think of the implications !

Yeah, this is standard media operation. I had an interesting run-in with a reporter years ago. The paper had reported that fireworks at the county fair had gone off without a hitch some years ago. In fact, there was a riot and the fireworks were cancelled. The paper reported interviews with folks "at the fair" saying how wonderful the fireworks looked, etc etc... I wrote a short ironic letter to the editor - and got a call from the reporter asking me to pull the letter. He basically stated that this is generally done by reporters for most events. The reporter is not sure if he can get the article written by deadline, finding folks to interview after an event can be hard, etc..,. One excuse after another. And, to be fair, the editor should have caught this article since the paper's headline was "fireworks cancelled!" or something like that.

But it give you an idea of how reporting actually works and why so many perceive it as simply "fake" unfortunately.

And the idea that there are implications with manufacturing and manipulating events - yes. Small manipulation eventually leads to large distortions.

I hate to say it - I trust lawyers more than reporters. :)
