BIRX: But we also made it very clear to the American people, this is what you need to continue to do to protect yourself.

BIRX: And I think most importantly, if you have any pre-existing conditions, through phase one and phase two of any reopening, we have asked you to continue to shelter in place.

BIRX: It's devastatingly worrisome to me personally because if they go home and infect their grandmother or their grandfather who has a comorbid condition and they have a serious or a very -- or an unfortunate outcome, they will feel guilty for the rest of our lives.

She keeps telling us about how this is a learning process for us all.

We're the ones supposed to be learning, she's the goddamn expert and doing this by the seat of her pants.
The virus thing is not her job, keeping us bitches home is. That's the learning curve for her.

They need to shut the Fuck up.

Brix gave it away; the people in danger are the grandparents of the rest of the people who are thrown out of work and can’t go to the beach or a park, etc.

"The Me Generation"

What I've always wondered is where is the great economic bonanza that should have evolved from those 47 million abortions that the Me Generation didn't have to spend 18 years rearing?

The majority of the elderly don't live with their kids. 6% of US born elderly; around 25% of foreign born elderly. I think she knows she has blown it by overreacting, and is straining to justify the calamitous policy.

“Six percent of U.S.-born seniors live with relatives, while 25% of foreign-born seniors live with relatives. For those born in countries including India, Vietnam, Haiti and the Philippines, the share of seniors living with relatives is even higher than that, he added."
