Why hydroxychloroquine and remdesivir should be considered by the MD in acute/emergency settings until there's time for a well-studied cure

For most viral infections there isn't a one drug panacea, especially not in the beginning when the illness is new - but that escapes the hollow minds of the leftoids. Consider HIV/Aids. For many years a cocktail of various AVs and ARVs was given to combat the progression of the disease. There is no single viral drug to fight the flu, there are (multiple) AVs and interferon therapy etc. Every patient is different and depending on the genetic markup and the immune-system <-> virus interactions one drug may benefit a patient a lot but less the other. Why are biotech companies constantly innovating to find even better drugs for already curable viral infections? Because most AVs aren't perfect, for decades if not centuries Hep C couldn't be cure until recently, yet there were plenty of AVs approved to treat it as a chronic condition. The leftoid mainstream media is fooling the gullible by proclaiming a drug "doesn't work" based on small studies here and there while others show effect. Don't be daft. Read up on viral infection and anti-viral therapies, then you'd understand waiting for a stat. sig. miracle cure study among patients that have numerous co-morbidities and are on deaths door is foolish. That's where the MD comes in, based on experience a good MD may suggest drugs they think may benefit a patient based on their profile when things get critical.
