It gets worse. Right now more diesel fuel than gasoline is being used. Gasoline is a byproduct of refined oil, so to get more diesel we have to produce more gasoline. And we are out of places to store it since people aren’t driving much at all comparatively. Can’t just dump it, gotta have good containment or have to burn it for fuel. Otherwise diesel for the trucks that deliver our goods can’t be made.

Just more reason to get things up and running again despite the risk. People forget, or really never knew, just how treacherous every day life was only 100 years ago when they didn't have palliatives for the most minor ailments. Rudolph Valentino, Eddie Lang, Carlton Coon, Loren McMurray, all great musicians of the 1920's, would more than likely have lived normal life spans except for the minor infections that killed them that could have been quickly cured today. Go back 150-200 years, probably as many or more children died at birth or infancy than lived.
