Field Marshal Newsom has his eyes on the prize (2024 Presidential election). In the mean time, he continues to govern the "nation state of California". Given CA's lower COVID-19 fatality rates, it will be interesting to see if he uses California Border Protection Stations to check for more than agricultural pests.

If he gets to far in the convention, there's a Barr for that. I think Barr is more than willing on slapping a privileged Liberal that thinks they are above their crimes with an indictment a week before the election. The data would imply New York State did a poor job preparing and shutting down the state early enough to flatten the virus curve. Cuomo is trying to blame the Federal Government and Trump, specifically, for his failure as governor to protect his people. After the fact, he crows like a rooster for more of EVERYTHING and calls out "The sky is falling!!"
