The State Department’s temporary suspension of visa processing has stopped the inflow of H-1B foreign visa workers into American white-collar jobs while the Chinese coronavirus crisis drives up United States jobless claims to more than ten million.

In a given year, more than 100,000 foreign workers are brought to the U.S. on the H-1B visa and are allowed to stay for up to six years. There are about 650,000 H-1B visa foreign workers in the U.S. at any given moment.

Americans are often laid off in the process and forced to train their foreign replacements, as highlighted by Breitbart News. More than 85,000 Americans annually potentially lose their jobs to foreign labor through the H-1B visa program.


This is excellent news. And the irony of globalist-owned media helping to undermine globalism is sweet.

That would be a big improvement Remember that when use Chinese drywall rendered thousands of homes too toxic to occupy, China dodged all responsibility because the drywall could not be traced to exactly which Chinese firm supplied it.

I’m glad that the invasion of foreign workers will slow down.

They should pass a law that for every H1-B worker that is imported, one government employee must be fired.

This should slow it down to a trickle as the government goldbricks scream to their representatives.

With classroom teaching all done exclusively online now, we can easily outsource the 3.2 million teaching jobs in the US, all the administrators, and district personnel. The tax savings would be huge and quality might improve.
