I wore my Trump shirt today to the immigrant grocery store this morning. I was just hoping one person gave me shit, I was going to call them an unpatriotic leach and tell them to get the fuck out my MY Country. But instead all I got around every turn of my basket. Two thumbs up and people saying(in broken English) "Trump Very Good, Maduro no Good" They would touch their heart and point to the sky and say "I love Trump!".

It was kind of disappointing, the only dirty look I got was from some hipster brown skin, guy in his twenties. He could tell I'm fucking fed up with the goddamn Commies and kept his commie mouth shut.

Sounds an awful lot like Marcus. Capable of self reflection but only to a point. Almost no ability to admit that oneself is wrong and instead blaming the problems on President Trumps supporters being bleating sheep, incapable of rational thought.

Overall I think he's doing a good job. Still think it's an overreaction, but that might be me reading and watching more media being stuck in the house.

Either way it's a fucking virus, it's not him bombing some muslim shit hole desert country. I don't blame Obama for his virus. WTF are you supposed to do with airborne shit like this? Also remember all the stay in place shutdowns are all at the feet of governors. So as the economy tanks, Trump has a valid excuse whether you want to believe that or not. As CEO of the US there's NOTHING he could have done to prevent the spread of this virus. If terrorist blow up all the Ford manufacturing plants tomorrow, is that somehow the CEO's fault? And again, I'd have this same opinion for Obama, Clinton, Bush, etc.

Tim Aurora says
Did you see Bush's approval after 9-11. In times of crises, people coalesce around the leader . Judging from the below 50% approval, I say he is in bad company.

This guy comes in and links 538? After 2016? Comedians need to come here to get fresh material for their acts....

As hard as the media and left try to politicize this virus, I think most people understand it's a shit show at the fuck factory and blaming people for anything is stupid. Although left will always left if you know what I mean.

As early as June 2015, FiveThirtyEight argued that Donald Trump "isn't a real candidate"[54] and, until late in the election season, maintained that Trump could not win the nomination.

FiveThirtyEight should have just quit after blowing it THAT badly.

“According to a new Gallup poll released Wednesday, the media was the only institution that scored a negative approval rating among the public with only 44 percent of Americans approving of the way the media has covered the virus.”

The President, Vice President, and Centers for Disease Control, by comparison, each earned at least 60 percent approval from Americans.

I hate his porculus-2, but overall he has been a voice of reason on corona, while media is so full of shit that it is beyond pathetic.
Just remember "Trump is raycist" for closing travel to China, and now "Trump does not do enough".
