Mr. Trump has no desire to acquaint himself with most issues, let alone master them” is how I put it four years ago. “No major presidential candidate has ever been quite as disdainful of knowledge, as indifferent to facts, as untroubled by his benightedness.” I added this:

Mr. Trump’s virulent combination of ignorance, emotional instability, demagogy, solipsism and vindictiveness would do more than result in a failed presidency; it could very well lead to national catastrophe. The prospect of Donald Trump as commander in chief should send a chill down the spine of every American.

It took until the second half of Trump’s first term, but the crisis has arrived in the form of the coronavirus pandemic, and it’s hard to name a president who has been as overwhelmed by a crisis as the coronavirus has overwhelmed Donald Trump.

They picked the wrong Mother Virus to Fuck with!

This one as far as Viruses goes, is mild as it can get. Sure the puny .98-1.2 mortality rate is there, but for everyone else that gets it nothing happens.
While hospitality is down, the sheer volume of goods moving off the store shelves, it's like when Hurricanes are coming through South Florida. That's only regional and it always gives a boost to the local economy after all is said and done. This is on a National Scale, worldwide even. And it's not just sanitation and disinfectant needs. The meat isle and the bread isle was cleared and empty last night at Publix. Every store in South Florida was cleared out of basic necessity needs. Which sucked for those that actually needed Shit paper. Everyone else has 12 week supplies.
This gambit is going to be the Establishment's biggest folly, it will be the last straw that fucks them in the ass for good.

Trump just needs to put an end to the Short Sellers, but he wont, because he needs the market correction. As long as the Establishment is willing to rig one for the Corona Virus. Then Trump free and clear of any blame. They are really are feckless useless dumb sons of bitches. Liberals can't fucking think one minute into the future, or consider any ramifications of their reactionary actions. See my well thought out thread on the subject, "How come Liberals lack critical thinking skills" for more on the subject.
It's been discussed in great length here on Patnet, by some of our most brilliant minds. Believe Me, Patnet has some of the most brilliant minds working on these problems, and they all Concur, the Democrats are doing a damn fine job, at beating the Fuck out of themselves.

My guess is, this is a problem that goes away with all the things shutting down and the weather warming up. Vaccines start to come in October....Trump gets to claim victory on this whole issue.

Agreed

Agree as well, but some businesses in some industries will go under. Having had my trip cancelled and looking more into these companies, I think one of the big three could go under from this. The amount of debt cruise lines pay, along with maintaining a ship that has no passengers is staggering with no revenue coming from them. Carnival/Princess is my guess.

I was going to be on NCL for a 10 day. They're offering 125% of the rate for a future cruise credit. They'll do a 100% reimbursement back to your card, etc., but they're not offering that until March 23rd. Seems fishy. Like they don't have the cash. Hopefully I'm wrong as I want the cash back.

I use points with Southwest, but just booked a few flights through them. The fucking point value to get a flight has fallen off a cliff. Even for future flights that should be outside this CV issue. If you need to book airfare for business/pleasure, I'd be shopping today. For southwest I could probably fly all the active users on this site to Miami (FLL) with the points I have. Fucking nuts. All routes are way down, if not the lowest I've seen them.

He's a big fat effeminate imbecilic twink who is terrorized by 130 lb chicks asking why he nuked a White House task force on epidemic detection and response.

This is not a person who can handle life and death issues of multivariate complexity - or any question beyond 'spicy or regular chicken?'

This is someone who may, someday, with years of training, be able to give out towels and handjobs at a bathhouse.

Just to remind you all that are ignorant of the deep understanding of our most liked member AF.

At that point we can get back to the "climate CRISIS' as the temperature will get to 101 in Phoenix.

I've pondered that for decades, mostly while alone in the woods.

I find him extremely amusing, even if I have ideological differences with him.

If I didn’t have certain obligations at the moment, the wifey and I would be on Waikiki Beach the next few months.

Not sure about that. Did you watch Katrina and the 2008 crisis happen?
In September 2008, Bush bragged: "The economy is beginning to improve.".
Trump has some way to go.
