Thanks Trump and Mnuchin for doing something that actually has real impact on the taxpayer and the economy. Hope they delay it by a few months.

It's logical to do so, so people have time until this subsides. We have to take care of our family etc.

What is the reasoning behind this? I'm being a mimbo here. I legit don't understand. We have a deadline to file taxes. It occurs every year. Taxes while being complicated are made easier with software or hiring someone. What's the point in extending the deadline?

Not just that, likely IRS offices could be empty for a while. Not sure if they all can "work from home".

Don't hire lazy people and/or smokers over 70 if we're talking about Corona.... 98% of people should have zero issue doing their own taxes, including business taxes. The software can't get Corona...

Better not be paid time off. I already got my loan to the government back because I'm responsible.
