This will all come back to roost next time a progressive administration faces eight years of Trump court appointees.

Actually, that will not be so bad for the progs. The Trump judges will rule on Constitutionality, not politics. For example, when Trump wanted to ban immigrants from select countries, the Judge should only be looking at whether the President has that legal authority (he does), and not at why the President would want to ban. Instead, the Judge claimed to see into Trump's heart and said Trump was motivated by anti-Muslim bias, so he invented a Constitutional violation. In the future, if a prog President wanted to make an executive order to remove border walls, a Trump appointed Judge would just look at whether the prog President has that legal authority. The Trump Judge would not look into the prog President's heart and declare the order unconstitutional because the prog President was only trying to flood the country with illegals to satisfy corporate donors.

Do we really want a legal process that is anything but an outlandish, purposeful, plundering taxation, favoring a bureaucratic class of economic vampires, over ridiculous lengths of time leading to entirely arbitrary and politically motivated decisions?

I didn't think so.
