This site used to be about housing. LOL

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on how to get a Broker to listen to me for 5 minutes in his/her office?

What are you planning. Bear trap, or boiling pitch?

Say you're looking to buy one of their listings. This will work 100% of the time. Just be ready to bullshit them after they find out you don't want to buy.

They want to double side the deal and will suck your dick to make it happen is my point.

It highly depends on WHY you want that 5 minutes. Is it a deal within his normal business purview? Something so compelling it will sell itself within that 5 minutes? Some snake oil? What?

Well, at least you didn't contribute to the downfall of my post. For that, I am grateful.

A: I am trying to sell him/her a solution to what may become an industry problem.

Good luck. They just WANT your money. They don't want to spend THEIR money.

Free Lunch. You're the salesperson.

Didn't know the end goal to the question. Yeah, if you're trying to sell something to a broker, free stuff is the way to go.

Also, are you going after individual brokers or the entire office? You don't need to disclose what you want to sell, but your best bet is to get with the managing brokers in most cases to sell a product. If you can sell them, they'll sell it for you to the rest of the office and you can move to the next prospect.

The managing broker is much easier to get to lunch in my opinion. At larger offices they're not personally selling real estate most of the time. They're looking for more brokers, but also ways to enhance the office sales. So it shouldn't be too hard to get them for a lunch meeting at all.
