I think it will sort itself out - something has to give eventually. 2 women were assaulted, one severely stabbed at the Embarcadero in sanctuary central. Our friend had her car broken in several times within a year, then both tires slashed. Not a day goes by where I don't encounter a mentally ill hobo menacing in the streets. The left's dystopia is about to fail, I give SF 5-10 more years max. when push comes to shove and survival instincts kick, then is the time political correctness and the woke bullshit will be abandoned in a heartbeat.

We are taking modern US society here. Nearly all the efforts to censor, legal and otherwise, are from the left.
In the case above with Aubrey Huff, he made some stupid comments on Twitter that literally no one is defending. The SFG uninvited him, a very key member of the team, to a WS reunion. Of course no 1st ammendment rights are violated and the SFG are entirely within their rights to invite anyone they want. The question is whether or not they should have for what basically amounts to political expression, albeit expressed in an entirely moronic manner.
What got me is the large number of people saying yes keep him away. His comments are repulsive and have no place. Rather scary that so many, especially those that think they are very bright, seek to silence those they don’t agree with.

However the baseball incident...I got in a discussion with three ardent lefties and they were all really happy to trounce on Huff’s grave. As a baseball fan, and if I was a fan of the SFG, I’d be really pissed at the Giants for this one. Enough to make me not a fan of the organization. Huff was a HUGE part of the Giants 2010 season and post season. And these lefties just seem all too happy to silence others. They’re general tactic is humiliation, but occasionally they lash out. They all also insist they love to hear and consider the point of view of others. But that is not true at all.
I wonder if it’s all just a huge bout of virtue signaling. Yes we are good liberals...we wanna hear all points of view...see we are so open minded.
I think they are hell and gone from being liberals. But these guys aren’t young snowflakes. They’re all in their 40’s. I think it is very possible they are all gay so maybe that’s what the motivation is?
