Best economy in 25 years also. At $15 a ticket, there’s much less incentive to go to a movie with the chance that the movie will be horrible
It’s funny, wife and I went to In N Out last night. We live in an area that is definitely higher than normal income for So Cal. Yet $3 cheeseburger, $7 meal In N Out was slammed. Line of cars in the drive thru a quarter mile long. No seats available in the dining room.
However, there are 65M more people in the United States - the population is 20% larger than 25 years ago.
I guess those migrants aren't helping fuel the economy by going to movie theatres.
