"As far-left Democrats yell about bribery and high crimes and misdemeanors, let’s turn to their own side of the aisle, starting with the once penniless President Obama, who left public office a very, very rich man.
He just bought a Martha’s Vineyard mansion for a cool $11.75 million, which is in addition to his Kalorama lookout post, his Chicago home, and possibly a Hawaii spread. At some point, you’ve made enough…but not him.
Ostensibly, it’s mainly the work of his book deals. No bribery there, right?
Well, ahem…
According to Investment Watch (IWB), something doesn’t quite look right.
Obama's career arc went through community organizer to congressman to president for eight years and now he can afford to pay taxes on a fifteen million dollar beachfront property that he paid cash for.
He's not the only politician that got filthy rich "serving the people", witness the Clintons'; Bill earned over $100,000,000 for speeches since he stopped "serving the people". Burisma paid Biden $600,000 (possibly more) a year to "serve" on the board. A majority of congress people are at least millionaires. I don't expect a billionaire playboy to fix things overnight.
"Serving the people" We should expect more from our representatives.
Well, during Obama's reign we economically displaced over 50 million people in the most heavily armed country on earth, and the reports of guns being involved in the evictions was basically zero. Since the country didn't come apart, I think he deserves a few mansions.
It's great because you can get around lobbying laws.
SEIU #54 can buy 1000 copies at full retail and then give them away to members, allowing more donations to a politician without reporting it as a political contribution. And it goes right into the Politician's pocket as personal income.

Obama gave Pearson Publishing $350 million to create Commoncore text and Pearson gave Obama a $65 million dollar book deal in return."
