Anti-semitism is not sweeping New York or the world.

Yes, anti semitism was once a real issue in the U.S. e.g. medical schools limited the number of Jewish students accepted. But anti semitism was never a national policy or a major political movement here as it was in Europe and today it is a mental health issue, not a major movement. Combating anti semitism in the U.S. is a solution in search of a problem.

Are you aware that the article at the link has no correlation to the header that you've posted? (i.e. the article acknowledges Anti-semitism and not once mentions Israel)

If it's a fucking Contest, then what can we do to win this thing? Just how much money does Israel need? I'll get my fucking CHECK BOOK!

We hear non-stop concerns about "Islamophobia" in the US by Leftists, Media, Academics and Jew haters. But it is not even close.

https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/religion/story/2019-04-27/poway-shooting-comes-amid-rise-in-anti-semitic-hate-crimes

Face it - alot of Blacks have a Jew hating problem in New York. Years of the likes of Al Sharpton and Farakhan preaching hatred against the Jews has an impact.

Check out this NYTimes piece from 1992 from Henry Louis Gates lamenting the growing anti-Semitism problem with African Americans:

"While anti-Semitism is generally on the wane in this country, it has been on the rise among black Americans. A recent survey finds not only that blacks are twice as likely as whites to hold anti-Semitic views but -- significantly -- that it is among the younger and more educated blacks that anti-Semitism is most pronounced.

The trend has been deeply disquieting for many black intellectuals. But it is something most of us, as if by unstated agreement, simply choose not to talk about. At a time when black America is beleaguered on all sides, there is a strong temptation simply to ignore the phenomenon or treat it as something strictly marginal. And yet to do so would be a serious mistake."

There are blacks who hate Jews and Jews who hate blacks but black antiSemitism is not a major problem in the U.S. Actually blacks in America are the main problem victims of violence by blacks, not Jews.

In no country have Jews lived more freely, indeed thrived, than in the U.S. which is why there are many more immigrants to the U.S. from Israel than the other way round. And yes the contributions of Jews to the U.S. have been far more than most other immigrant groups. The same is true of Asian immigrants.

Nor are Jews in Europe today endangered from terrorism anymore than any other Europeans.

O boy, where do I start.

> actually blacks are much more likely to be victims of violence by blacks than are Jews.
It's irrelevant because this observation fails to consider other factors. Such as social connections. Most violence happens within communities. To make this point trivially obvious: how much jewish-on-black crime is there?

> In no country have Jews lived more freely, indeed thrived, than in the U.S. which is why there are many more immigrants to the U.S. from Israel than the other way round.
Indeed, US has been better to Jews than most other countries. This is changing as we speak. There are multiple symptoms to illustrate that, from events in New York to open Anti-semitism on some university campuses.

> Nor are Jews in Europe today endangered from terrorism anymore than any other Europeans
This is not in evidence, and nothing you said prior implies that. In fact, it's not true.
Here's a quick mental exercise. Two people, one wearing keffiyeh and the other yarmulke, in Paris. Which one do you think risks getting harassed/beaten/stabbed?

Still, the article at your link has nothing in common with your headline.

Could be wrong, I think they are suggesting it is a problem within a few neighborhoods only, such as Brooklyn.

Criticism of the Israeli government is not anti semitism. If it were than Israel would have to be considered the most anti Semitic country in the world.

If you read a 120 year old newspaper, say on microfiche at a library, Palestinian equals Jew.

A fake ethnicity developed in 1964 by the KGB meeting with a Cairo, Egypt native named Yassir Arafat - born and raised in Egypt .

The founding document of the PLO recognizes Jordanian Control over the West Bank and Egyptian control over Gaza and claims to have no territorial claim to those areas, only pre-1967 Israel itself.

There is no occupied territory because they was no such thing as Palestine before 1967, except for Jordan which is 90% Palestinian by claimed ethnicity (really just Levantine Arab). Both Jordan and Egypt have refused the return of Gaza and the West Bank. Arabs before 1967 rejected every single proposal for a Jewish state, including one that basically only gave the Jews Tel Aviv and a narrow corridor to Jerusalem, smaller than Hong Kong or Macau.

Before 1964, Palestinian was another way of saying "Jewish Israel". Everything from fundraisers to stamps to soccer teams were "Palestinian" but really Jews only, not Arabs.

Didn't you read about the gang of Hassidic Yeshiva Students beating up the black kid for money and yelling "Pull up your pants, Nignog!" on the Subway?

Ghetto Dwellers hate more than just Jews, they hate Whites, Ricans, Dominicans, Cubans, Koreans, Chinese, Blacks from Jamaica and Africa, etc.

Blacks are literally the most racist group in America, by their own self-admission in surveys and polls. Have been for half a century.

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. Doesn't matter: why would you think that I meant criticism of the Israeli government? Do you believe that this is all that's going on?

My Jewish friend told me this week that he isn’t concerned about anti-semitism or white supremacy.

What he is concerned about is black crime when he goes to the ATM after sundown, consistent with data.

I know it's probably because my location but most people I've met that didn't like jews were in the movie industry. I never met anybody that didn't like jews growing up, all the ones that from my childhood were very nice and poor or middle class the only time you could tell they were Jewish was Christmas. Most the problems I've heard about Jews seem to be ones from Russia and Eastern Europe that seem to fit the negative stereotypes.

There aren't going to be any Central European or Levantine Pograms in the USA, however much some might want that. Reason one is the 2A, Reason two is God's blessing for Dissenters, Calvinists, and Evangelicals per Genesis 12:3. Babylonian Churches don't like that verse (or the OT or the Bible generally for that matter). Proof is in the pudding. Literally the blessing began the moment these movements flourished, from the 1600s on; Britain, the USA, Australia, and the Dutch Republic are living proof. Grumpy, bloody Eastern Europe not so much.

The impact of Genesis 12:3 is the reason I converted to belief in Jesus.

Bethlehem was 60% Christian in 1994 after almost 30 years of Israeli Governance.

Today, after 20 years of Palestinian Authority Governance, it's under 20%.

Some dumb Levantine Babylonian Christians think that pan-Arab Socialism will save them from the wrath of Islam.

But their fate has been no different than Hindus in Pakistan, Lebanese Christians after Hezbollah, etc.

I had a Jewish pal I worked with late 90s. We'd go get bento boxes for lunch quite often. He'd trade me his shrimp tempora for broccoli tempora. Sweet deal.

These days I work with a Muslim pal who gives me the bacon from his burger. When his dad comes into town from India his sister gives me all of his beer before he gets there. Another sweet deal.

It's over use and constantly being brought up has already diminished its significance which is unfortunate. But there were even more significant losses of life from brutality during and after WW2. Why do we hardly hear about deaths in Russia and China, along with other genocides? How many movies are thier about the holocaust compared to other horrible genocides and mass slaughtering/starvation of people? Jews are not totally innocent and are only going to be able to cry holocaust for so long just like other groups with their grievances. Just about all of humanity suffered from WW2.

Yep another one, 13th in 10 days.

New surveillance video appears to show 13th anti-Semitic attack in NYC in 10 days

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/anti-semitic-attack-new-york-city-surveillance-video-shows-assault-on-hasidic-jewish-man-brooklyn/

There is no Palestine and has never been one. In 1947 Gaza and the West Bank were annexed by Egypt and Jordan, respectively, when the British pulled out. Until 1967, both areas were considered full territories of those nations, with complete socio-political control from police to military to law courts to schools. The original KGB-written PLO Constitution guarantees Jordanian and Egyptian control of West Bank and Gaza and explicitly rejects any claims on those areas. Only AFTER the Arab Countries lost those territories in war and refused to negotiate their return, did the KGB-created Fakestinians rewrite their Constitution and claim those areas for themselves.

Also, the BS about the "Illegal" settlements is areas where the 50,000 Jews expelled from Jerusalem and the suburbs around it by the Arabs had full legal title to the land. International Law explicitly states conquered land can be returned to legal title holders.

Levantine Arabs are in no danger, unless they wear suicide vests or try to stab people or hang out near rocket launch sites.

Here's another one, an Orthodox Female Student in her early 20s. Should be the 14th, attacker screamed Allah Akbar.

https://freebeacon.com/national-security/manhattan-da-declines-to-prosecute-anti-semitic-attack-as-hate-crime/

Aharon and a Jewish man she was riding with were attacked after another passenger heard them conversing in Hebrew and saw the man was wearing a yarmulke, according to the victim.

"As soon as I sat, that woman started cursing and yelling at him about him being a Jew and ‘Allahu akbar' and how Allah will end us all," Aharon said in a video she posted online following the attack.

The Manhattan DA decided not to prosecute the attack as a hate crime, or to present the case to a grand jury to decide whether it meets the legal threshold for a hate crime.

After the original article was published, as if by magic, the DA "Reconsidered" not labelling it a hate crime and will put it to a Grand Jury.

Following the Washington Free Beacon‘s initial report on the decision by the Manhattan DA not to prosecute the attack as a hate crime, which prompted a fierce backlash on social media, the Manhattan DA informed Lihi Aharon's lawyers that they will now present the case as a hate crime before a grand jury in the coming weeks.
