It's like being indicted but not being prosecuted. You're not prosecuted until you have a court date.
People say "He was indicted, but the charges were dropped."
They don't say, "He was Prosecuted, but the charges were dropped." That's called exoneration, which is what Trump will get if it goes to the Senate.

How can it not?

Oh let me count the ways.

Trump was supposed to resign, he wasn't expected to call bullshit. They were also hoping the constituents would have all joined the Antifa Soros army and riot him out. The last thing the Esablishment wants is to air this out in the Senate. They made that clear with the way the house conducted themselves

There's NOTHING in the Constitution about impeachments 'not being real' if some procedure by the House doesn't 'send articles to the Senate'. All that was required was a majority vote for impeachment.

Per the other thread:

joshuatrio says
Impeachment as contemplated by the Constitution does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial. Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution: The House must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment.

It all depends on whether the republicans will allow witnesses and documents to be brought before the proceedings (you know, the ones the white house obstructed congress from seeing in the House hearings stage ). Either way, it's going to make your side look bad.

We shall see.

No body cares about the sitting President trying to stop corruption in Ukraine, but they will care about the last administration using the office as a racketeering organized crime organization.

The House passed two resolutions impeaching Trump by majority vote. According to the Constitution, Trump is impeached. Period.

You mean a group of people that hate Trump...who have hated him since he won the election, held a vote amongst themselves to have him impeached....the majority voted YES and now he is impeached....but that's it? Nothing has changed...He's still the president......yet they went thru all this BS just so they could say that he's impeached. That's funny...what was the point of that? Almost 3 years of time wasted for 0 change.....what a bunch of idiots...

To who? The haters hate them no matter what....the supporters support them no matter what...you haven't figured that out yet?
You think a Trump supporter is going to think..."damn, he was impeached, I guess I'll vote for warren now"......lolol..........funny

All evidence suggests independents have been converting to Trump supporters. Marcus is hoping and wishing that the world does the opposite to empirical evidence.

Its called head in the sand analysis.

Look in the mirror.

For starters answer this question: why are independents supporting trump more and more into a 98% negative trump media coverage and a house impeachment proceeding?

If you can anser this question w moral humility, you will prove yourself to be above the left vs right mental trap.

No alternatives.

Biden? Corrupt and demented.
Warren? Phony socialist.
Buttigieg? Sanders?
No viable alternatives are being offered by the Democrats and that is why Trump will probably win both the electoral and popular vote in 2020.

He’s not, never has been, and likely never will be.

I think he's learning. He spelled "because" correctly, once.
