A federal judge blasted the FBI on Tuesday for repeatedly submitting applications to wiretap former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page that were riddled with errors and omissions, and ordered the government to inform the court on how it plans to reform the process.

The scathing four-page order from Rosemary Collyer, the presiding judge over the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA), marks the first time the court has responded to the controversy, which became public last week with the release of a report by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

Donald Trump seized on the order, saying: 'Wow!'

He quotes a Fox News report and added: 'Statement by the Court was long and tough. Means my case was a SCAM!'

Inspector General Michael Horowitz said his office had identified at least 17 significant errors and omissions during the application process, including the altering of an email by an FBI lawyer.

The inspector general said that as the FBI sought to renew those warrants, it withheld from the Justice Department - and, in turn, the surveillance court - key information that the watchdog said cut against the premise that Page was a Russian asset.

The order from the judge is a rare public statement from the court, which operates mostly in secret as it receives applications from the FBI and Justice Department to eavesdrop on American soil on people it suspects of being agents of a foreign power.

Secret courts spying on Americans is a very bad thing. Should not exist.

"Process" is not the issue. Lying to the court is the problem. Anything going to happen to those who deliberately fabricated and withheld exculpatory info from the court?

Fake outrage. The court is a rubber stamp for domestic terrorism by bureaucrat fiat.

They're just going to claim that they didn't know the information was false at the time it was presented regardless if that's true or not. This is why I've said that the Obama administration has shed light on one of the best political weapons you can have. Trump would be foolish not to use it. I don't like it, but domestic election interference is huuuugly a biglier problem than this Ukrainian bullshit.

Makes one wonder why the Dems have been constantly hammering the "foreign interference in our elections" when the ACTUAL issue is using probably the best investigative services in the world to interfere with the 2016 elections. Can't help but to believe they're trying to distract.

It's also the purposeful omissions, like that Cater Page was a CIA asset, that they cannot deny knowledge of. If you watched Comey's Chris Wallace interview, you saw what a liar he was, although with a decent straight face effort. So we live in a country where the federal police will influence an election. Also a country where a wealthy and connected criminal will be confirmed by representatives of both parties to head up the US Treasury. Also a country where the daughter of a war criminal will be given a choice job as a co-host of a morning feel good TV show. Chilling.

It's the deep state crime sluice. Keep the torrent flowing so profusely, accountability becomes an impossible dream, and the works are held hostage, like a union seizing the factory.

Crime now for advantage, claim plausible deniability later, count on the short memory span of the public to go dark and allow silent running, have all of your bureaucratic assets in place to bury and obscure the leads, abuse process selectively against opponents or 'enemies'. They've go it down to an art form, with occasional collateral damages to individuals OK as sacrificial lambs. Play the game, take the shame.

Nunez responded with a "Fuck You!" He warned the FISA courts in 2018, it was all biased shit. Christopher Wray responded by calling Nunez a liar and told him to keep his mouth shut, or be charged with obstruction.

But Wray shot it down

Took that bitch 2.5 years to say anything. We need to shut down the FISA 'courts' now!

FISA established under Carter. Reagan,Nixon,Bush 1 & 2 & Trump have done nothing to stop FISA.

And why would Trump? I've said it before, he's going to use the courts against his enemies.... who of course introduced him to FISA and it's abilities. Enjoy Trump 4.9 more years or whatever it is now. That's Obama's legacy. Not sure I'm 100% on board, but that's what he created.
