I feel like all these opinions always leave out a lot.

Because mist of the world thinks America is paradise, not Finland.

It is an opinion piece, but it's citing a lot of very interesting facts. The kind of facts that make right wingers want to put their fingers in their ears and say "lalalalalalalalal I can't hear you. !"

Or the right winger will say, "Yeah, but they have a more homogeneous population."

The thing is, our population would become more homogeneous (but it would take a generation or two) if we had those types of government policies. Not racially homogeneous, but socioeconomically far more homogeneous.

Of course you must think I'm a racist liberal to hold such beliefs. Right ?

Not in the most developed part of the world.

America is too arrogant to learn from other countries the things they should.Besides we're too busy spending all our money on military dominance so that the Nordic countries, Canada, Germany etc can have it so good.

It's tough, but maybe somehow in the not too distant future, the world can get it's act together without going through WW3.

Yeah look at leftists today. They think their failed or unproven theories can make better society.

So far all they brought on is massive homelessness, desperation, and gay indoctrination into middle schools. Must be proud of those results.

Let's send all the illegals there. I'm sure the Finns wouldn't mind. Would be fun to watch their wonderful K-12 system coping with the flood of non-Finnish-speaking offspring of lowest-IQ uneducated parents...

While companies in the United States struggle to administer health plans and to find workers who are sufficiently educated, Nordic societies have demanded that their governments provide high-quality public services for all citizens.

See? Public services for citizens. Not overcrowding and dumbing-down K12 schools by admitting the children of law-braking foreigners. Not giving financial aid and scholarships to the law-breaking foreigners at the expense of citizens. Not demanding that hospitals treat non-paying foreigner lawbreakers making healthcare more expensive and less accessible to citizens. The list goes on and on.

"We were experienced professionals, enjoying a privileged life."

"Our child attends a fabulous, highly professional and ethnically diverse public day-care center that amazes us with its enrichment activities and professionalism."

"Our income was trickling in unreliably from temporary gigs as independent contractors"

"College would also be tuition free."

"In the United States, Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are often demonized as dangerous radicals. In Finland, many of their policy ideas would seem normal — and not particularly socialist."

"A socialist revolution was attempted once in Finland...urban and rural workers and tenant farmers, fed up with their miserable working conditions, rose up in rebellion. ...Civil war broke out and mass murder followed. After months of fighting, the capitalists and conservatives crushed the socialist uprising. More than 35,000 people lay dead. Traumatized and impoverished,...."

rofl.

It all sounds so predicable as if it was a left wing, democrat, socialist propaganda sales pitch article bought and paid for.
