Not the whole issue and you know it. Hunter Biden got a no-show job for $80k/mo strictly because his dad was Vice President and Obama assigned the Vice President to handle Ukraine affairs. That marker was called when Joe Biden forced Ukraine to call off an investigation of Burisma or have planned American aid revoked. The Biden issue is influence peddling at the high levels of the US government, not to be trivialized by comparing what the Biden's did to other peoples' mere nepotism.

By the way, yes, anyone who has gained undue wealth from political office should be investigated. Having such sentiment start to grow among the public is what I believe these politicians fear, and thus see a higher "crime" for someone to look into the Biden-Burisma corruption than in the Biden corruption itself. Such politicians seem to see influence selling as a perk of the job, and do not want any scrutiny.

That's the important distinction too. Have Trump's kids benefitted? Hell yes. But was it because he did something policy wise that benefited them? No evidence of him changing US policy to give his kids a leg up. Other countries can throw their money at the kids all they want, that doesn't mean Trump made them do it. On paper, and via Joe himself, it appears a sitting US VP tried to shield his son from a foreign investigation by holding up aid. Oh well...

It's never been about Hunter getting the actual job with no experience. Yes, that does happen all the time. It's about Ukraine investigating the company he was on the board of and Joe Biden explicitly stating he had a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma fired or aid would be withheld. THIS is from the horses mouth, Joe Biden himself. There's no argument here. No strawman. This IS what happened. It's completely unethical at minimum and criminal at worst.

If that doesn't need further investigation in your world, then you're going to have to agree with your vocal minority on this one. Trump NEVER threatened to withhold aid with regards to the Biden issue. Simply stated that Ukraine should look into it. That's not a crime or treason or any other bull shit term made up by the media.
