Unable to perform her job duties, she could have retired and saved us from unpleasant things.

Instead, it all reeks of desperation and depends.
10   clambo   2019 Nov 24, 11:28am

I hope she somehow survives until January 2021 and then president Trump can nominate another justice without anyone bitching about it.

Unfortunately that won’t happen. You saw the made up allegations against Kavanaugh...it will be a shit show going forward. You could nominate a 35 year old Boy Scout and the left would sic the hounds.
12   Patrick   2019 Nov 24, 12:05pm

There's like a trillion dollars in corruption profits at risk because Trump is president. Outsourcing factories, insourcing illegals.

The globalists are terrified that Trump will cut off their gravy train just to benefit ordinary US citizens. And who gives a flying fuck about ordinary citizens, you know?

So of course they are going to use their media oligopoly to stir up all kinds of division to try to stop Trump.
13   Ceffer   2019 Nov 24, 12:13pm

Won't some Drano clear up the RGB hair plug in the SCOTUS legislative plumbing? I'm so curious to see the slander campaign, fake news assaults, and doxy, insane 'witnesses' that lie in wait for Trump's next nominee.
15   Ceffer   2019 Nov 24, 12:25pm

It takes 12 epi pens a day, a methamphetamine drip, an industrial defibrillator, and box of cookies to keep the old gal up with a pulse. They want to set a record for the longest sitting coma vegetable on SCOTUS.

Seems to me Trump does a pretty good job of fomenting divisions himself, no "oligopoly" needed. But I suppose anybody in opposition to the stable genius, for whatever reason, is a trouble maker and globohomo.

Yep, Merritt Garland would have the hounds siced on him, by Republicans. But that's not what you mean is it. First the Boy Scout would have to be approved by the Federalist Society.

I don’t know what this means. The Republicans held the Senate when Garland was nominated. Had they decided to hold confirmation hearings they certainly wouldn’t have bribed someone to make up false allegations against Garland.

And evangelical Christianity is the cornerstone of the right. Those faithful are never deceived by their preachers, totally fact based, keep praying to your Jesus for her death, hope springs eternal, very Christian..

That’s the worst thing about going to the orchestra. I went with my wife a month ago and my seat (although dry) reeked of old piss. The audience was ancient. I figure someone forgot their depends ... a few times.
25   Chiromancer   2019 Nov 24, 9:03pm

As long as she is breathing and doesn't resign she can't be replaced. It does appear she is mentally sound. But she could be in a coma, and on life support and not be replaced. This life time appointment to the Appellate and Surpreme Federal courts should be modified by constitutional amendment to say 20 years and out.

No ones questioning that, but forgive me for rooting for her demise under those circumstance.

You've seen her recently in person and spoken to her? Or are you just repeating the MSM narrative? I'll bet it's the latter so your opinion about her health has no value.
28   MisdemeanorRebel   2020 May 5, 5:59pm

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized Tuesday in Baltimore with an infection caused by a gallstone, the court announced Tuesday, adding that she's expected to remain in the hospital for a "day or two."

I disagree. As long as a supreme court justice thinks they can function in their job they can continue. If a justice were criminally bad they could be impeached. Everybody eventually dies. We don't need a constitutional amendment.

From Article III, Section 1
"The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behavior, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office."

Maybe RBG needs her compensation to pay rent and buy cat-food.

Ginsburg, 87, is “doing well and glad to be home,” a statement from the Supreme Court said. She will return to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore in the coming weeks for follow-up outpatient visits related to her acute cholecystitis, a benign inflammation of the gallbladder.
