In 1950's one could walk through Harlem at night (see Sowell). Now, not so much. In Houston, neighborhood called Third Ward had next to no crime up to late 1950's. It was and is 90+% black. Now, it is horrible.
I would first blame do-gooder liberals for destroying black families etc before blaming anyone else. Even now, the most batshit crazy individuals are guilt-ridden liberal whites.

But I do think that people from left are to a large extent the reason why we have crime epidemics in black neighborhoods. And the same people want more of the policies that failed.
Inquisitive minds also might want to compare crime in, for example, Asmara, Eritrea with nearly any US city of similar size. Hint - Asmara has no crime...
