“For too many years BART has been ignoring violations: sleeping on the cars, gate jumping, loud music, panhandling, drinking and eating, littering, etc. I’m sick of riding BART and observing all the violations with no action taken.”

Exactly. And the only time BART cops ever did do something is when a black kid ate a McMuffin at the Pleasant Hill station.

I rode BART for twenty years between South City and SF and never once saw a BART cop in a station or on a train. Apparently they were all busy keeping law and order in Pleasant Hill.

Selective enforcement of laws is generally an indicator of tyranny.

Another is disproportionate sentencing. Too many examples where average citizen commits minor crime and gets maximum sentence "to be made an example of", while committer of a particularly heinous crime, career criminal, or public figure gets no sentence whatsoever.

Yeah, that's how I feel for being the only one pulled over when everybody else was also speeding on the freeway. Tyranny!

So, basically, what tovbot is saying: "we love our shithole BART, don't even think of starting to clean it up, because it would be ray cist!".

Yep - and that is why we can't have nice things in California.
